User Reviews for U.S. Border Cantina

5 Star Rating: Highly Recommended

Despite a couple of negative comments below I decided to try this place since I just moved to Bellevue. I've eaten there four or five times now. I try to always order different things, and I've enjoyed it all!! The servers are always so friendly and the service is so quick! I highly recommend trying this place out. The food, margaritas, and service is wonderful!

Pros: Food, Margaritas, and Friendly Servers

Cons: No cons at all!!!

I just had my first and last meal at the 'Cantina. The service was ok, but the food may be the worst I've ever had at a mexican place. I really don't know why someone would eat here. I would be embarrassed to serve such poor food.

Pros: outside patio

Cons: really bad food

Honestly it may have been the worst meal I have EVER had out at a restaurant. They used Velveeta type cheese to make my cheese enchiladas. The tortillas were terrible. I bet the good reviews are made by the owners. I cannot imagine why anyone would ever eat there. You are better off getting microwave Mexican food from the supermarket. The price was okay, but the portions were really small for a Mexican restaurant. Go ANYWHERE else. The service was fine. They had okay chips and salsa .

Pros: none

Cons: horrible food.

This is a great little addition to Bellevue. The salsa is actually hot, instead of that stewed tomato junk that everybody else serves. No wrong food choices. Great family oriented restaurant where people seem to be regulars. The parking and prices are perfect. I can always depend on the border to have a great friendly waitstaff and quick service. This will forever be my staple for mexican.

Pros: Salsa, Margaritas, Relaxed

I have never been disappointed by US Border Cantina. The service is quick and good, and the food is fantastic! Love the chile relleno. And the salsa is exactly like the kind my college roommate (from Mexico City) used to make from scratch. You can't go wrong here!

Honestly I was very disappointed in this restaurant. I had the chicken quesadilla which was pretty bland and the salsa for the chips was very spicy and just really didnt taste like "normal" salsa. Also the prices were not as cheap as other similar, (and better!) Mexican places. I wont be going back, I think I will stick with the Cancun Mexican Restaurant down the street.

Pros: Fast service, Good for families

Cons: , parking, noisy

I've eaten ay many mexican restaurants, and by far this one may be the worst food I have ever eaten!!! They served tomato sauce with there burittos. How can anyone rank this restaurant in the top 100 of Nashville,...If so it just show how bad the Mexican food really is... Unsatisfied Customer

Pros: none

Cons: bad food

The food is great ... the service is IMHO is wonderful (but of course they know me by name here). This is also my sons favorite place. He is three. But for those who are looking for a fabulous margarita this is the place for you. Get it on the rocks and you can't go wrong. They do have different bartenders and the best is a young man who I know works Wed-Fri (I'm not sure about Sat.).

This is the closest to real Mexican food I have found since moving to TN. Just like the places back home, you get good food at reasonable prices. I would recommend the Cantina to anyone who wants to eat nice, mild Mexican food and not that commercial stuff at the more upscale places.
