I have been taking my pets to Harpeth Hills Animal Hospital for years. They take great care of the animal patients, from little rodents to Great Danes. :) When I have taken a sick animal in to be seen, someone usually calls me the next day to see how he/she is doing. I like that! The vets give excellent and compassionate care. And you can tell from the caring way the staff handles the patients that they are truly animal lovers. The receptionists are very personable and efficient, making sure things go smoothly. When I go there, I feel like they are glad to see me and my animals! My pets are very important to me, and I have been very happy with the care given to us at Harpeth Hills.
Pros: Easy to get an appointment. Excellent handling of emergencies.

I changed vets because the staff at my other vet ignored my dog and kept me waiting too long. My dog barks anxiously wanting to "play" with other dogs. It is a little frustrating at times for me. The staff at Harpeth Hills comes from behind the counter and talks and plays with the animals. They are great, not like the other place that just looks at you like you are a bother.
Pros: great with anxious animals, walk-in no problem
