I love this place

I love Trumps! I have been going there for a little over a year. I understand that not every day is perfect but everytime I have been in I am welcomed and treated great. If you are looking for a great place to go and get your hair cut I would highly recomend you try there.

• Pros: Example: best croissants in town

Disappointed

I am very unhappy with the services I received last time I was at Trumps. They had a woman who was obviously not qualified to wax, who waxed half of my right eyebrow off. I would strongly reccomend that you do not let anyone but the esthetician do any waxing. It was very traumatic and has been a month and it is barely grown in. This is a warning since I believe they are still letting her wax other people!

Great haircut but atomphere stinks

I'm not totally sure if I like Trumps yet. I've been twice for a haircut and that part was great. However, I don't like the atmosphere there because it seems as if I'm ignored in favor of the "regulars." The stylist is wonderful but I feel as though all I want to do is get my hair cut and leave as quickly as possible. Being welcomed when one comes into the salon would be nice but both times that I came to the salon, there is such mayhem at the front desk, I feel lost in the shuffle; and it's the same when I leave.

Not licensed to work as professional ?

How is the guy that does the hair weave extensions allowed to work there without a license from the state.I had a friend have her hair break off from the this once. Should'nt be allowed. I prefer to go to places that are licensed by law and have true professionals working on me. As for mentioning ex customers on this site by name as to weather they have wriiten negative reviews or not is also tacky and truley unprofessional. again trash wrapped up in a pretty package. people shoul'nt accuse others without proof . tacky and obviously written by the salon owners.

My favorite place!

I have been a client of Trumps Salon over a year now and absolutely love the place. Katie Bender is of course my all time favorite along with Amy. Gwen is the cure for all head massages and when you are stressed or having a bad day she hums while she works and you feel like a million bucks when you leave the salon. I have found everyone to be kind, professional and courteous in every way. They say hello, smile and I have yet to hear one bad word from anyone. If you read this and have not been to Trumps you should go and be prepared to be treated like a queen or king. To me I have found a great place with great people and I have watched a lot of people walk out the door that looked absolutely fabulous. If you are looking for someone to give you a great style ask for Katie she is great!

• Pros: You feel wonderful when you walk out.
• Cons: If I had one it would be the wait sometimes is a little long.

The nicest people I have ever dealt with

these folks go out of their way to make you feel relaxed and have always made me happy with my hair and the work they do.The below reaction was written by TARA FOX (her name this week) who operates Elite tanning in Green hills.her purpose is to hurt anyone with her lies if they disagree or compete with her.he bragged to me one day in the salon she would do something...what a piece of work.....these people have a great reputation and have never "name dropped" at anytime.I love what I get and will return often

Never met such rude wannabe fowl mouthed hags in my life

It's disgusting that parents allow children to listen to exploits of the guys wild weekend an their great moral view point on life. They hold their breath to get their hair done. What they don't know is as a stylist they read from a Shwartkoff manual. They can't fix a problem cause they can only follow directions , not like a true professional stylist. They can barely afford their space they. So, every time you go in you get a different higher bill for the same thing I guess it depends on if they need to keep their utilites on. They talk about their own customers and make fun behind their backs when they leave. I find it hard to understand how men with no morals could judge anyone for anything when they will be judged one day. Many people have left. I made the mistake of going with a friend who got her hair chopped off after telling him not to and then he was upset cause she questioned is GOD complex! Do not go there. It's basically trailer trash wrapped in cheap flashy wrapping paper. There is not enough room for their ego's and the guy doing the old our of date weave extensions is not even a stylist and can't do that by law. He made my friends hair fall out. They are not your friends and beware what they say when you leave. Of course they have maybe two celebs left and they have to let you know that by name dropping every visit. The purses they sale are junk and fall apart. They are a joke. Find a real stylist that also doesn't smell like that haven't had a bath in days...very gross.

Wonderful & Peaceful with a Personal Touch

I have been a client for over five years and perfectly treated every visit! I am a customer for life and would only miss an appointment if I were dying!! Mark has cut and coloured me for years along with Gwen that has the sweetest voice and heart felt passion for her love of the beauty business. Gwen is an angel and just one minute with her you will agree. Mark is an amazing guy with a personality that will leave you with your face hurting from the smile you will have from the time you are in his chair until you leave. John is fabulous with extentions and talking shop; business that is, which is crucial to how every client is treated like a queen or king. We both have been in customer service industries for years and he is always thinking of how to improve the already perfect service! He is caring and always accomodating to make sure you have a wonderful experiance!! Windy!! She will make you melt with a facial, dermaB, or even a spray tan....really! Kindest and most honest heart felt woman I know. She is a keeper and will pamper and spoil you like no other!! When you arrive you will see the beautiful windows created by Mark and entering see the display of beautiful, some one of a kind items from LA, and abundance of gifts for yourself or specail person. Last, and not least on the A List is Natalia & Denise. They confirm and book your appointment and just about anything else that is offered at Trumps they will see that you are attended to. This beautiful enviroment and all the special people that are part of the Trumps family will make you feel your best. PS I have heard they are opening a new location not far from the current Green Hills location that will be even more FAB! I can not imagine!! Windy Jones - Best Kept Secret ANYWHERE!!!!

I am originally from Los Angeles and have been to salons all over that area. I was fortunate enough to find Windy a couple of years ago when I relocated here to Nashville. It astounds me that someone could use a forum like this to be so hateful to probably one of the most talented beauty professionals I've ever come across. Forgive me for being so blunt but I really can't see taking advice about an ESTHETICIAN from someone who can't even spell the word. Windy provides her clients with not only the latest beauty techniques... i.e. Microderm Abrasion, Eyelash extensions and tinting as well as an array of Enzyme peels, but she also makes you feel so completely comfortable and relaxed... like your best friend is pampering you for an hour. She's professional, sweet and absolutely the best at what she does. So hopefully anyone looking for an ESTHETICIAN who will put your needs first and make you feel like queen for a day will disregard the next post and come see her at Trumps anyway. It's obvious that the "right" people truly appreciate her services. I will also be signing my name to this post so no one could possibly think that Windy would ever write her own review... Absurd!! Great Salon---Best Esthetian???? PALEEEEAASSSSSEEEE!!!

Ok, it is so obvious that their so called Esthetian has wrote her own review! I have had a facial with " Wendy"---Oh forgive me, " Windy" ( who by the way even spelled her own name correctly in the review), and my eyelashes tinted. The facial was so-so and I did re-book my eyelash tint with her. HOWEVER.....when I showed up for the eyelash tint, "Windy" did not. As a matter of fact I even re-booked for a second time and guess what???NO WINDY!!!! So let's just say I have not booked with her again, my time is way more valuable than that!

I will say that I have had a great experience with the rest of the salon. I have had my hair done by Teresa who has done an excellent job on my highlites and my cut was the most fabulous cut I think I have ever had. You also get free entertainment when you sit in her chair by Steve George who works right next to her- he is histarical! I do think that Trumps is a great salon and will continue going there.......just not for eyelash tinting or anykind of facial services.
