Pay no attention to the review that calls Bradford's "snooty"
by infosharer
Pay no attention to the review that calls Bradford's "snooty"...it was likely written by the owner or an affiliate of the Gallery of Belle Meade (username "poshshopper") in response to cyrusthecat's negative review of the Gallery of Belle Meade. If you look at the Gallery of Belle Meade's reviews, you will see that poshshopper has written a gleaming review of what is likely a store with which he or she is affiliated. I had a similar, equally aggravating experience with the Gallery of Belle Meade and needed to reorder items elsewhere. I looked at both Bradford's and Sprintz. Bradford's had a lovely selection and friendly service. A Bradford's associate was very helpful; she returned my call the same day when I inquired about the prices of a few items. I ended up choosing Sprintz because of their huge selection, outstanding prices, and - most important - outstanding customer service. Sprintz went out of their way to remedy the order that the Gallery of Belle Meade botched. Even though Sprintz did not carry the particular brand I wanted, my sales associate went above and beyond and made a special arrangement with the manufacturer to reorder the items I had originally ordered from the Gallery of Belle Meade.
Great Reputation is Deserved

I recently redid a (small) room in my house. I went to Bradford's for carpeting, having already ordered a sofa at the Gallery of Belle Meade. Although it was a small order (under $1500), the Bradford's designer could not have been more helpful. I had some timing issues relative to the installation, and Bradford's went out of its way to accomodate my needs. When the Gallery of Belle Meade failed to deliver my sofa and I canceled the order, I ordered another sofa from Bradford's. Bradford's experience was, once again, exceptional, keeping me informed as to the progress of my piece, which was delivered late through no fault of Bradford's (the manufacturer reported the material I'd ordered came flawed and they'd had to reorder) but beautifully made and amazingly comfortable. Their service has been consistently professional, courteous and attentive. I might add I am am not an "old Nashville" social figure and the first time I went in, I was wearing old Eddie Bauer jeans and a sweater, an outfit that suggested I was "just looking" customer. On the subject of merchandise, it is mostly traditional, so if you're looking for New York loft style, go elsewhere. But if you're looking for classic, beautifully made furniture (and can afford it), Bradford's is the place to go.
- Pros: Classic, beautifully made furniture and accessories; attentive, professional designers
- Cons: Have to be able to afford it!

I am not old Nashville and do not have a name associated with it. I was, therefore, not spoken to or given any attention or sevice.
- Pros: nice things, but overpriced
- Cons: rude and invisible service
If you've got the money, they've got the designs.
