Thugs Are Out
by Mstee
When I visited Wave Country with a friend on July 12 2009 for my birthday I had a blast. We took a blanket, lunch, swimgear, and towels. The thugs must have been hidden out somewhere else. The kids were enjoying themselves, the adults were kids again, and the atmoshere was welcoming. I swam and ate and slept under a big shadded tree. I woke up and did it all over again. At evenings end the rain clouds moved in and everyone had to clear the pool due to lightning strikes. To my surprise the pool attendants graciously stamped anyone's hand who wanted to return after the rain. Well we came on back home to Memphis TN. The only wave country you'll get here is when Memphis In May comes and the rain floods out the selfish BBQ and Music festival goers.
- Pros: Great Place to cool a Hot Head!!!
- Cons: Slide Into The Waves For Fun!!!
Not a good place for families any more

If you enjoy looking at thugs with there bathing suits down and their underwear showing, or listening to filthy language, If you don't want to enjoy the pool because the hoard of thugs are rough housing and horse playing this is the place for you. Do not take your young children there it is no longer a family fun pool. It is over run with members of groups and thugs. If metro Nashville Parks does not care to back the wave pool and keep the thugs out it will soon be nothing more than a memory. Do not go.

Nicknamed the "Wave Pool," this water park near Opry Mills has slides, a kiddie pool and two sand volleyball courts.
