Great program- very pricey!

My daughter has attended this school for two years. The instructors have been very good and we have really enjoyed the performances. It is very expensive compared to other schools- costumes, tickets, etc. We have mainly stuck around because our daughter has several friends who attend and the location is very convenient for us. They do have a good selection of classes and a lot of time options. Overall, we have had a good experience but if you are not interested in the performances you could shop around.

Great place

As a parent who has been involved w/GHSD for 11 years, I feel very good in giving the school a rating of 10. Like any operation, there are ups and downs but by asking questions, there are no "hidden costs". We like the school because they have outstanding teachers and provide the opportunity to compete or not compete. Our experience has been very good. It is too bad that other reviewers feel the need to use their distorted recollection, limited exposure or failure to ask questions to run down one of the premier programs in the Mid-State area. I strongly recommend this program to anyone interested in a well rounded dance experience.

I've been involved with Green Hills School of Dance for many years. They provide exceptional instruction, are excellent with children, and have a magnificant facility. They also give back much to their community.

Great value - I'd pay much more for the same service!

I think Greenhills school of dance has an AAAAAwesome program!

There love for kids is amazing, and there commitment to the art of dance is steller!

I truley love the many different programs that the studio has to offer

I have done sound mixes for the studio , and they have been a pleasure to work with.

Hidden Cost's

Beware of being "nickel and dimed' to death. $30 registration fee, $20 admin. fee, $68 monthly fee (one hour/wk lesson)for 9 mos., $60 costume fee (worth $20), $70 performance fee for a 6 year old? Recital tickets ($32), $35 for a VCR tape of recital, $12 for a T-shirt, $44 for class pictures. Rehearsals that last 4 hours, recitals and rehearsals at Opryland. Note: These are all LAST years prices - they have gone up! BEWARE! They won't tell you about the extras until the last month. Are your going to tell your daughter two weeks before her recital that she can't perform because it's become outrageously expensive?! Nope-they've got you! Beware! It's Little League for girls.

Over 400 students for a reason!

I have been involved with GHSD for 12 years and while any place of business has room for improvements the girls I have observed attending there absolutely love it. They have caring commited teachers who truly do care about their students, a wide variety of subjects and levels of training as well as a great facility including the location.
