Awesome Flowers

I live in Ohio, called this florist in Nashville. It was my daughters birthday and I wanted to send flowers for her at work. Rachel was wonderful on the phone, very polite, very helpful and she said she would do a good job for me.

Well she certainly did. My daughter loved them and when I got to Nashville later that night, I got to see them and they were absolutely beautiful. GREAT JOB!

Disappointed

I ordered a certain arrangement and increased it to a preminum design. When flowers arrived nothing that was suppose to be in the arrangment were in it, no roses replaced with daisys, even though the arrangement was pretty it was not what I ordered and everything was replaced with cheaper flowers. I would not recommend this florist, but if you use them I recommend you not allow replacements.

This shop is amazing. Just when I thought every arrangement from every florist looked nearly identical, along comes VOF to prove me wrong. Their expertise and creativity is unmatched. And they really go the extra mile to make sure their arrangements are stunning & to make sure their customers are happy. Even browsing in their little retail area has been the source of unexpected little treasures!

Best Shop in Town

By far the best flower shop I've seen. Having worked in flower shops before it's easy to see that VOF is a cut above other shops. Their artists are extremely well trained and educated in floral design and its trends.

I've used them several times for work and personal occasions. Each time I've gotten tons of compliments on the arrangements and not had to spend a ton of time communicating with the florist on what is needed. Thank you VOF for your attentiveness and talented staff. You definitely go above and beyond for your clients!

Beautiful flower arrangements- a delightful shop with extraordinary customer service

I have nothing but good things to say about A Village of Flowers. Their incredible designers create unique and precious flower arrangements for every occasion. I work at a financial planning firm, and I am constantly ordering flowers to be delivered to clients in town. I am never surprised anymore when a client calls after receiving their delivery, gushing over the beautiful flower arrangement they have received. It happens all the time! A Village of Flowers is a gem, and I'm so glad I can count on them to provide excellent service and beautiful flowers.

Fine if you don't request specifics

Don't ask for anything specifically because the shop will do whatever they want. Went into the store a week in advance and picked out specific flowers that I wanted for a mother's day bouquet. Got a call in the late afternoon the day before saying that they didn't have one of the flowers so they wanted to know if they could substitute. Beyond me how they don't have flowers after requesting for them a week in advance. But fine! Showed up today and the arrangement looked very little like the one I wanted. I requested two types of flowers and nether were used in the arrangement. Yes the arrangement was pretty and the flowers looked fresh, but not at all what I had requested or paid for. If you can't do what is asked then you say you can't and don't make up something and hope the customer is happy. That is just bad business. I will not be going there again!

Great flowers and artistic design

I am not from Nashville but wanted to pick up some flowers for a family event and selected "A Village of Flowers" from the CitySearch Reviews. On the phone I provided only a price range and a some general guidance "informal, colorful, should look like they were picked from a farm." The arrangement was amazing. The flowers were fresh and varied, the design was informal as I asked, not symmetric and yet had wonderful balance of size shape and color. My Nashville relatives say they are changing florists.

exquisite design

Words cannot express our profound gratitud towards A Village of Flowers. The floral design for our wedding simply surpassed all of our expectations. It was exquisite. The professionalism and dedication was present from the beginning, when I met with Melissa (the owner) for a wedding consult, to the day of my wedding.

The atmosphere of the store is warm and beautiful -I just want to sit there and have a cup of tea!! The wedding bouquets and centerpieces were lovely. Every thing reflected hard work and dedication (they mean business!). The designers and staff were friendly, professional and extremely talented. Thank you all so much for making our day so unforgettable.

Village People Do It Best!

Village of Flowers has turned into my second home! I don't think I have ever been to a flower shop with such incredible talent and taste in this city. Nothing but the best comes from these guys (girls!) and the service I am offered everytime is top notch. If you are still using the "superlative" florists, or your traditional mom and pop with babies breath--- look no further than Village of Flowers to change how you feel about those other guys. To a Village of Flowers: You ARE the best of this city, and much heartfelt appreciation for all of your hard work making Nashville beautiful one arrangement at a time!
