Righting the ship

I recently dined at the Trace after taking a bit of a hiatus, and was so happy that what once was a Nashville hot spot, seems to be picking back up. The food quality has improved, and the presentations are, of course, top notch. Bar service can be a bit slow on a busy night, but overall I enjoyed myself. I'll keep coming back.

Great Time

I dined at The Trace last weekend and it was the first time I'd been in several years. The food was great and the wine list is incredible. My date and I have decided it's our new favorite. We will definitely be back in soon.

Doin' a great job

The Trace is one of my triage of restaurants that provide consistently great food, at fair prices, and with good atmosphere and service. The staff may appear to be a little snobby at times, but the management keeps them on their toes. Plus, this is in the middle of the village, so a little snotty attitude, at times, should be expected and is a small price to pay for the good food and atmosphere.

Relaxed and trendy

A good stop for a drink or a diner, with a more trendy style. The front section of the restaurant offers a nice 'outside feeling', as it is surrounded by mainly glass (and actually is open during warmer days - our last visit was in december). The food is good, but with a few more Traces of creativity I would rate it higher than I did.

Surprised by the entree prices

The Trace has a great atmosphere, attentive service and good, interesting food. But, I was a bit surpised by the entree prices: $26 for the tuna entree????? That's a little high don't you think? Appetizers are reasonable, though.
