I had heard good things about this place. WRONG! My party and I felt like we were on "Candid Camera."
To begin this glorious night, our reservation was lost. Atleast the hostess was'nt rude, Ha.
It took us almost as long to get our drinks as it did to receive our torn, food- ridden drink list.
I hope the food on the dirty drink list was better then my party's.
We encountered everything from over-cooked steaks, to undercooked pork chops (pig sushi anyone?).
The service staff seemed like Keystone cops. Nobody knew nor cared what was going on.
I've had better service at Mc Donalds.
But wait, maybe I'm being a bit hard on the place.
The creepy little manager guy did give us free desert and his business card.
I have the feeling he will not need the latter for very much longer.
SMILE you're on. . . well you get the idea.
Enjoy.
- Pros: There is some close seating to the exit
- Cons: free dessert
Proles on Parade

While there are a few cosmopolitan restaurant-bars in Nashville, this definitely is not one of them. Poorly trained wait-staff seems to be the norm as they are unfamiliar with out-of-state licenses, and are also unfamiliar with common bar liquor brands. Put that together with a self-entitled me-first waitress attitude adds up to a distinctly provincial environment.
Come here to dine and drink if you think you are worldly and sophisticated...yet the rest of the world knows you're not!
- Pros: it's near other bars
- Cons: wait staff, level of service, atmosphere
romantic setting, see-and-be-seen with a pricy menu.

The Bound'ry is the see-and-be-seen for the hillsboro/music row crowd. Spacious bar is nice for meeting friends for drinks and some thin crust pizza. on the weekend, service can be a tad slow because its so popular. the resturant is romatic with low lights, but be prepaired to shell out the cash. fun everyonce in a while, but as a regular spot, it can drain the bank.
- Pros: great food, excellent drinks and bar staff
- Cons: high priced and a bit stuffy at times

Last night was my third trip in as 2 years to Boundr'y and I was really looking forward to going. I had a slightly better than average experience last time but was disappointed that it was not as good as the first. I figured it was an off night or whatever and was hoping to get redemption this time through. The food was still good, the Salmon was nice, the filet close to perfect , however the duck was a little overdone and the calamari was slightly tough. Apparently, they ran out of the novelty cone bread as we received the metal spiral with two bread sticks and cheese bread sans cone. The wine list was still strong with a great representation from the major regions around the world. The ambience was still there, the fire, the balcony and warm colors really make you feel comfortable.
I was frustrated at the no reservations policy after 6:30pm on Friday and Saturdays nights as I had clients with me and the service while still good seemed to slip some. All in all I would rate the experience again slightly better than average, however I do not think I will be back next time I come to town. The Nashville restaurant scene is getting more competitive and you are resting on your laurels.
Decent

I've been to the Bound'ry once and I had heard a lot about it. It is a nice place, however, the seating, at least the non-smoking area seems limited. The hostess seated us right next the the fire exit door and it just felt weird. We were up against the wall, with a slight draft by us. There didn't seem to be a lot of options with the way they had it set up upstairs. They do bring you a great variety of breads served in these neat cone-shaped things. The food was also really good. I had the filet, and I must say, it was pretty perfect. I would recommend the food, just wish the seating was better.
- Pros: Great food
- Cons: Poor Seating
Great scene, friendly, opinionated, and witty staff

I was completely in the mood for tapas. I was meeting clients there, was looking forward to the great tapas on the menu. Julia, bartender, convinced me that I must get the double pork chop. It is the only thing she eats there, blah blah blah..... so after 10 minutes of arm twisting, I ordered the chop. No regrets at all. Smoked, grilled, well seasoned, well cooked, with a rosemary, honey, tamarind glazed sauce, applesauce and mac & cheese as sides, this dish will keep me as a customer when I am in town. Thank you Julia, and Bound'ry for making it a good night for me.
- Pros: Great staff and scene.
- Cons: Cigarette Smoke.
A popular bar scene and a menu without borders.

In Short
Flickering lanterns illuminate patio tables out while an upstairs patio, warmed by heat lamps in colder months, lures patrons outside year-round. Inside, bright murals and a mosaic fireplace line the sizeable two-story dining room with brilliant decor that suits the captivating menu. The mind-boggling list of tapas offers more than an average-sized party could share: lobster BLT pizzas, barbecue egg rolls and pan-seared scallops are just the beginning. A late-night menu is also available.
Tasty Tapas, Cool Atmosphere, Great Service

When I visited Nashville for the 1st time last summer some girlfriends of mine (Nashville natives) brought me here. I got the duck for my entree and we had a lobster ravioli appetizer both of which were delicious. I just recently moved here and since my brother was visiting, I thought I'd make reservations for two (we both love good wine and good food). I had absolutely no problems making a 7:30 reservation on a Thursday night. Once again, the appetizers were delectable--we ordered both the scallops and the mussells--and the service was perfect. I was a tad dissappointed about my entree this time (I chose the lamb which I understand to be one of the favorites but mine was a little too done on the outside); nevertheless, this place has consistently impressed me and I plan on bringing my boyfriend here when he comes to visit. That's the thing--the atmosphere is perfect for a girls night out, brother-sister outing, or a romantic dinner for two. Oh and as for parking--I recommend the valet.
- Pros: Great appetizers, service, drinks
The Boundr'y Clearly has Borders

If I'm ever in need of a drink and am on the outskirts of Hillsboro Village, yes, I'd stop in here. But go out of my way? I think not. Clearly a restaurant that continues to overrate itself by not accepting meaningful reservations i.e. past 6:30, doesn't want to cater to people who value their time. Would I want to take a party of 4 there? No. I don't find the old school appeal of waiting in the bar filling up on alcohol that way to manage a restaurant these days. Wake up. There's too much competition in Nashville!
Excepitonal service

Being a late diner, there are only a few places I would recomend. Bound'ry is our favorite. The food is always good even if you are not real hungry and want something small. The service is completly on time every time. The staff has always greeted us with a smile and left us with one too.
- Pros: Relaxing, Prompt service, good food
- Cons: Parking, lighting
