This is a really nice place for lunch. The buffet changes periodically, but has some of the usual Indian dishes daily. the staff is courteous, the place is clean, spacious with large windows and a nice place to have lunch. I come here frequesntly and always have a good meal.
Pros: Clean, spacious restaurant, great service, great food
Cons: None

It's pretty hard to make Indian food bad but they have done it and continue to. I've tried it several times - a few times just out of politeness to friends but I can't do it anymore. It's like the KFC of Indian food.
Pros: What difference does good service and good price mean if the food is bad??
Cons: Sorry, just really bad food. Get a TV dinner instead.

Went to this place on Saturday night. Someone suggested it. What can I say.... We have eaten in Indian restaurants all over the USA and this has to be one of the worst. I am a lover of Chicken Tikka Masala. They had used far too much food coloring (very red) which is not needed. Also, the chicken had a funny aftertaste. The only saving grace was that the Garlic Naan Bread was ok and so was the Pakoras. I ate 2 pieces of the chicken and dipped some of the bread in the sauce and then sent it away. The girl who was our server was a right misery guts and her comment was "oh you didn't eat much did you". I told her I didn't like it and she went "oh I'm sorry"... Also, just to add my husband left all of his meal too. So I think we should just stick to where we know the food is good. This place isn't a patch on the Sitar.

One of the first times I went I told the waiter I had some questions about the menu and he said "Ask me a thousand questions sir, I will answer them all correctly." I love this place. These are wonderful people. The buffet is the freshest most well kept of any kind of buffet I have ever been to. Everything I try I love. The sag the tandoori, the curry, the naan, the pakora, it's all wonderful. A wonderfully rich eating experience. The best rice pudding I've ever tasted. The quality is extremely consistant. Never a bad meal here.
Pros: fantastic buffet, excellent service, well managed

This is by far THE BEST Indian food in Nashville, and I have eaten at all of the Indian restaurants in Nashville, numerous times each. I always go back to Cuisine of India, and am never disappointed. Food is always fresh and has a rich and full flavor. The prices are right, and the staff is friendly and very attentive to the customer. One true test...my water is never empty. I prefer to order from the menu, but the buffet is excellent, awesome price. Very vegetarian friendly (as most Indian restaurants are). I highly recommend. You will not be disappointed.
Pros: Great Food, Good Price, Great Staff
Cons: Only one in Nashville

For me, this restaurant is better than Sitar Restaurant. I love the buffet especially the dessert 'gulab jamun' (I think I might spell it wrong) and the naan bread. Try this restaurant if you want to experience an Indian cuisine.
Pros: Good service, Great food, Cheap buffet
Cons: No delivery, No seafood for buffet

I eat at Cuisine of India at least once a week not only because it is the best Indian food that Nashville has to over but also because the people are the friendliest people you could hope to meet. The curried chicken is amazing. Stop in and check them out!
Pros: Great Food, Great People, Great Value
Cons: None
