Yummy thai food
by someone12345
This is my favorite thai place ever, anywhere. The food is always fresh and very flavorfull; it always seems like my tongue is dancing when I leave. I especially like the curry and the fried rice! The thai coffee is so good!
The staff is always really nice and helpful. The prices are really good and the portions are generous. I try to tell everyone in Nashville to eat here because I feel sorry for people who've never tried it and I would be devistated if it were to close.
So why are you still reading this? Go get some yummy food already!
- Pros: best thai fried rice and curry
- Cons: none that I can think of

Amazing Thai and Service in Nashville
by Bitzerhead
I want to state by saying that this is the best Thai restaurant Nashville has. After living in Seattle for 5 years and eating a lot of Thai, i was dying for some after we moved to Nashville. We tried a lot and this place was by far my favorite. On to the review.
It isn't much to look at, but that never stopped me from trying any restaurant. Upon entering, I found the restaurant nicely decorated and service to be above average. I have had a lot of meals, but one of my favorites is a dish with basil, chicken, and vegetables in a brown sauce (can't remember thai name). It is extremely healthy. My wife gets Phad Thai every time we go and loves it. Lastly, we got bean ice cream last time we went and loved it.
So go try it out and furthermore, write your review.
- Pros: Authenticity, fresh, taste, warm, service
- Cons: curb appeal
Fantastic and Authentic Thai, FINALLY
by Sandman88
I've been searching Nashville far and wide for some authentic thai (after living in Cambodia, Lous, Thailand, Shanghai for years, I have been quite disappointed with american thai cousine). Thai Taste delivers spicy, authentic dishes at a great price. It might be a little bit of a drive for some of you, but the food is far and away the best Thai I've had in Nashville.
- Pros: Wonderful Food
- Cons: None
Worst I've had in Nashville
by StrixVaria
Appetizer sampler had nothing that I would order again and the Pad Thai was the worst i have ever had.
I will never eat at Thai Taste again.
- Pros: Friendly waitress
- Cons: Terrible food
I am so thankful for GOOD THAI FOOD
by DaLeak
Being a transplant from Seattle, I was used to authentic Thai food. My wife and I were craving Thai last night and decided to try this place as it received high reviews. The experience and taste couldn't be better. From walking in the door, we were immediately seated and asked for our drink order. The waitress was extremely courteous and helpful when it came to choosing a dish. They let you request your heat level, I chose hot. I can't remember the name of my dish, but the chicken, vegetables, and basil were all fresh and flavorful. My wife got the classic Phad Thai and enjoyed it. It wasn't too crowded and the atmosphere was pleasant. I am so happy this restaurant is close to my house. The prices aren't unreasonable as well.
Best Thai Ever
by trcdragon
This is the best Thai food I have ever had. The food is fresh and the atmosphere is cozy and unassuming. The customer service and cleanliness is impeccable. I was unimpressed with many of the Thai restaurants in Nasville and Clarksville. This is the ONLY place I will drive over an hour to eat at. The Thai fried rice and appetizer plate is unlike any other around and absolutely worth a try (or several for that matter). They also offer a wide variety from vegetarian to full of savory meats. Love this place!
- Pros: Food, atmosphere, Thai tea
- Cons: Zero
Small Thai restaurant cooks up big flavor
by fewt
That's right, I visit Thai Taste twice a week on my lunch break. This little hole in the wall is in my opinion the best of the three Thai restaurants I frequent here in Nashville. We typically bring a crowd of people with us from the office at lunch time and never have any of our orders been wrong. The daughter of the owners is the usual server, and she excels at customer service and making sure we are enjoying our meals. We never have empty drinks, the food is consistant, and their dishes are full of flavor. Meals start under $6, and they have a wide variety of options. If you are brave enough go native. Native Thai at Thai Taste is not only full of flavor, but it packs a kick that you'll come back for.
Beware

Food was OK but it made us sick later. They would not issue a refund, and would not listen to any of our concerns.
Blending exotic spices and flavors perfectly, this cozy eatery is worth searching out.

In Short
This low-key, cement-block storefront is casual and comfortable, the kind of place that warms you up with both ambience and spice. Neighborhood locals and die-hard Thai fans fill the cozy room, as do fragrant aromas. The food is a balance of spicy, sweet, hot and salty dishes. A papaya salad with tomato, peanuts and spicy dressing is icy-hot. Red and green curry entrees are filled with your choice of meat, seafood or tofu.
