There are corprate style fast food burgers, then there is the little guy tring to make a buck. Corprate burger watch out, the Super Fat Mo is going to knock your buns right off. There are enough good words in the world to describe a Fat Mo burger. And by the way mmmmm mmmmm gooood!
Weird spices...

Frankly, I don?t see what all the hype is about. The burgers are huge, no doubt about that, but they?re dry as a popcorn flatulation and the fries are limp. And at Fat Mo?s, they use some kind of spice I can?t identify that?s really weird and makes everything taste funky. I?ve tried to place it and all I can come up with is a mixture of paprika and somebody?s feet. And it?s on everything, too.
- Pros: Lots of fat and meat
- Cons: Tastes like dirt.
Terrible burger

Burger was over cooked, dry and mealy seemed to be totally devoid of any seasoning. I might have just been on a bad night, but the burger was so bad I doubt I will give them another chance
No Mo'...Fat Mo's for me !!

I used to love Fat Mo's on Murfreesboro Rd., but I guess 5 yrs ago it changed ownership and like many of the Fat Mo's locations, Mo don't own them anymore. The food taste basically the same, but the service has gone way down. The girl that ordered in front of me had a big hair on the top of her fries. I ordered regular fries, but instead of regular fries I got a cold order of seasoned fries, probably belonged to the girl that brought her's back with a hair on them. The family behind us had their order wrong as well. Service was slow and they were not too concerned about it. If their quality of service has gone down that much, then it just makes you wonder about how well they are handling the food in the back.
Also....never order the bacon cheeseburger, if you choose to go there. Fat Mo's is owned by muslim's and they only service rubbery slices of turkey bacon. Nothing wrong with them being muslims...it's just that they don't use pork.
This place just isn't too special anymore.
- Pros: Good Burgers,Price
- Cons: Dirty,Slow Service, Turkey Bacon

This place TOTALLY ROCKS!!! YUMO!
Their burger and fries are all that I've had there so far, and they are AWESOME!!!!
Their Fries and burgers are seasoned perfectly--
Definitely one of the best burgers and fries I've had in Nashville so far!!
You have to eat in your car or on their picnic table, but it's no compromise really at all for the food!
I will definitely bring out of towners to eat here!
- Pros: FOOD, order acuracy
- Cons: no eat inside space if that bothers you-- but it's so worth it!
BEST burger!!!

This place is great. I used to go to the one on Murf. road all the time. The only thing that would be better is if you could get a cold beer with the burger. Great owners! It's nice to have a burger that is actually seasoned for a change. I moved from Nashville years ago and still miss Mo's.
- Pros: burgers!
- Cons: no beer
The ONLY place to get the best burger in Nashville

After you've had a Fat Mo's burger...and I mean any of their burgers...you will feel ashamed for McDonalds, Burger King, etc! I'm not a huge burger fan, but when I get the craving, I have to go to Fat Mo's. Plus, their seasoned fries are the perfect compliment.
- Pros: The Best Drive-In Burger place, bar none
- Cons: Not the best ambience, but who cares with food this good!
An immigrant cooks up a bit of Americana at a burger joint known for its gargantuan patties.

The Scene
A meaty reminder that the American dream is alive and well, Fat Mo's two locations epitomize value and service. The Mo is short for Mohammad Karimy, an Iranian immigrant who fled his homeland in the '70s. In '91, he added his truncated name to a storefront on Murfreesboro Road and started making burgers the old-fashioned way. Customers don't mind the wait once they sink their chops into his monolithic all-American sandwiches.
The Food
Some of Mo's burgers are so big, they can be measured in pounds, not ounces. If you're hungry enough to eat something the size of your steering wheel, they're willing to accommodate. Add a bounty of spicy, curly cut fries and a barrel of soda, and you can live out of your car for days. There are also smaller burgers for those with more modest appetites.

If you can get past the building itself, Fat Mo's offers the biggest hamburgers in the Nashville area. No need for sides because the many sizes of hamburgers will fill up even the hungriest person. They offer a huge variety of burger toppings.
PROS: Huge portions, good prices, great taste
CONS: Awful looking buildings may make some fearful
