My wife and I wandered into Karmal-Skillington just to browse, but we couldn't pass on the red leather chairs for our den. When Leigh personally delivered the chairs a few days later, we asked her to see what she could do for our small breakfast room. As we soon discovered, Leigh has a wonderful eye for space and design. We went with her suggestion and had her build us a custom, counter-height, pine 'Tuscan' table with black-distressed legs; and we also purchased two black leather stools (same brand as our chairs) and a black-distressed sold cherry bookcase for our cookbook collection (also for the breakfast room). We are totally thrilled with our purchases. The quality is superb and the prices are very reasonable - you get what you pay for, and I think Leigh's prices are a great value. Leigh and her staff take the time to understand your needs and the vision you have for your home. They're not out just to make a sale - they truly want to please their customers. Quality, honesty, value, personal service - you need to check out Karmal-Skillington before you make your next purchase. They also have a good selection of unique mirrors, custom frames, original art, and other accessories.

We were in Nashville for the weekend and walked into KS as an afterthought. On our flight home (Toronto) we were wondering why we spend so much money on a kitchen set and a dining room table. Now that we have the stuff in our house we are struggling to find furniture of the same quality regardless of the price. The furniture is not cheap but it is great value. Furthermore, the service that is apart of the package is excellent. Also, shipping to Canada is quite simple.

Our search for a table to fit our blended and growing family came to an end when we visited Karmal Skillington. Leigh greeted us as we entered this most intriguing showroom and gave a thorough overview of what she could offer to meet our unique need. An 8 foot farm table, designed to our specifications, would be built. As we relayed our situation of remodeling our home's two bathrooms, she offered ideas that led us to order custom vanities. We felt an immediate rapport with Leigh and trusted her suggestions. Our remodeling is now complete, and we feel that our home has been enhanced by these special pieces. A huge thank you to Karmal Skillington. We share our story to anyone searching for unique custom made furniture.

I was so impressed and amazed at Karmal-Skillington. The minute I walked in- I was in awe from floor to ceiling with all of the incredible furniture, custom tables that were the most beautiful tables and chairs I've ever seen anywhere! They had the most gorgeous chandeliers and lighting, art, mirrors, sofas, it was just gorgeous all the way around. The customer service was also impeccable. I was warmly greeted right away by the owner and an adorning, loving cat! The owner took the time to sit and consult with me so she could find out exactly what I was looking for and help me get it! It was just a really nice experience and so refreshing to walk into a place that offered impeccable yet warm service and selection. I won't go anywhere else. Everyone needs to shop here. They truly have it all.

I ordered/purchased four custom made (wood) furnishings from Leigh Skillington for the unique look and use that I could not find elsewhere. Leigh took the time to understand what I wanted & made me feel comfortable about purchasing custom works. In addition, the quality & service level met or exceeded my expectations. I believe the pricing to be fair for custom ordered/built furnishings. That's my story & I'm sticking with it.

Karmal-Skillington is one of my favorite places to find unique home furnishings in Nashville. The teak tables and cabinets are one-of-a-kind. I always find neat wall hangings for my home and people always ask me where I got them! Karmel-Skillington is my secret! The prices are a little high, but feel free to make an offer since it is a dealer. Sometimes they'll come down a little. Pepper, the store cat, is always there to greet you and give you a friendly "meow". Go to this place. There's none other like it in Nashville.
