After I let some idiot try and fix my car I found all these positive reviews about Autotech. I took my 97 BMW there w/ a blown engine and had it back within a week. Emil called me with updates throughout the repair, and has been amazing to work with. Next I brought him my WRX for a simple break job and was given the same treatment. I will never let anyone else touch my cars. If you’re looking for an honest repair shop that knows what they’re doing, there aren’t any other options in Nashville.
Pros: Immaculate shop and incredible staff

I found out about Autotech through the reviews on this site. I will admit that it was exactly as everyone said. I was a little concerned at first because the parking area was so full, I thought that there was no way they would be able to get to my truck. Boy was I wrong. I brought my truck in on Monday after 1pm, was told immediately what the problem was once I showed Emil. I was told I would have it back by 2 the next afternoon (which I doubted) but 11 am on Tuesday morning, they called and told me it was ready. The price was what was originally quoted, and the work looked like it had been done right. I have definitely found my new mechanic. Thanks AutoTech. AJ
Pros: Cleanliness, timeliness

Emil and his staff go out of their way to show you/tell you what is going on with your car. I have never had any car problems until now and defiinitely appreciate Autotech. Highly Recommonded

I called Auto Tech after taking my car to a nearby Firestone, where they said, among many other things, I needed the CV joint replaced and my problem would be fixed. From the first conversation with the people at Auto Tech I recieved direct accomodation as well as prompt service. They said to bring the car in ASAP and it would be diagnosed within an hour. Upon diagnosis, it turns out it was a broken wheel bearing and the wheel was about to fall off of the car. (Nice to know, right?!) He had it fixed and ready to be driven within a couple of hours. I highly recommend! Thanks, guys!! ~ *Starre* ~
Pros: Fast , direct, honest, and cost effective
Cons: none

I took my 1995 Lexus SC 400 into Autotech because, like you, I was reading all the good reviews and I thought it may need a tune-up. Well, it turned out it needed a "MAJOR tune-up" as Emil described it. At 130k miles, it was needing a new timing belt, water pimp, etc. I'm very satisfied with the work that was done.

This is a great repair shop -- it's the only place I've been in Nashville that always fixes the problem completely (which should be basic), and the only place I've *ever* been where the head mechanic/owner insists you test drive the car after the repairs (and he usually rides along).
Pros: Real car guys who actually fix the cars. (A whole new concept in repair shops!)
Cons: Cruise control repair took a while, but all other repairs have been quick.

After moving back to Nashville, I knew that I needed to find "the mechanic." Our family has a Mercedes and a Toyota that need to be serviced regularly so that we can attempt to get the most out of our depreciating assets. Emil and his staff are top notch. I won't waste your time with my horror stories of other repair shops. I will tell you that every time we have visited Autotech we have had ALL issues resolved with both cars. Emil takes his very valuable time to explain the work, recommend the best solution, and provide you and your family with a comfort level that you would think you were driving it out of the showroom (again). I no longer hesitate before scheduling a long road trip. I know that we can travel around town with our small child and never worry if we are going to be stranded. The prices are more than fair and I always leave his shop thinking that I got way more than the billed amount. I believe Autotech will service any make of car and is not strictly import only. However, if you do own an import especially an exotic, then look no further. If there is ever a higher rating than 5 stars, I will be updating this recommendation.
Pros: Being told the truth. Believing what you hear. Knowing that you made a good decision.
Cons: Not getting to see them as often.

The starter had gone bad in my Toyota truck and I took it to Polly's on Belmont.... it was a mistake, they quoted me an insane price to replace it. I picked up my truck and the mechanic there said "she'll be back", what a j*rk! I started searching for a new mechanic and found Autotech on citysearch. The glowing reviews are all true. Emil is a really good guy and keeps an amazing shop. He put in the starter for $125 less than what Polly's quoted and when I asked if I needed a tune up he and one of his mechanics gave my car a little check up for free and told me I could bring back the car as soon as I was ready for regular maintenance. Plus, his garage is the cleanest and coolest garage I've ever seen, the floors are painted white!! It is so good to have a trustworthy and good mechanic. These guys are the best, hands down. I would stay away from Greg's on Main too - charged me $160 for a tow and told me there was nothing wrong with my car before I found out it was the starter. Places like Autotech and guys like Emil make you feel like there are still good people in the world.
Pros: Honest, clean, fair, trustworthy & sticks to a quote.
Cons: none.

I drive a Land Rover, and if you know Land Rover's you know no one will touch them except the dealer, and I have never let anyone touch it but the dealer for warranty purposes (which mean nothing if they are never wrong, it is just something different wrong this time though symptoms are the same). Well after my latest $1000+ repair, I took my truck to Emir who was highly recommended by a trusted friend. It was not a serious problem, but the treatment that I received and attention that I was given you would have thought it was a big dollar repair. Emir and team are extremely knowledgeable and beyond fair and honest. Due to being a little gunshy I even questioned him on the repair, he did not get offended, he apologized to me and showed me what they replaced on my car and, in fact I ENDED UP EMBARRASSED BY MY ACTIONS!! How does that happen :-)???!!! At an AUTO REPAIR SHOP!!?? He is honest, above board, knows about ALL imports, and took wonderful care of us. He even told us a very funny story. We are definitely repeat business and will be taking our other vehicle there as well! Nothing can compare to the feeling of having a mechanic that you can trust. All cars break down!
Pros: Wonderful Service, Professional, Friendly, Experts!!
Cons: They have coffee, no tea

Emil successfully diagnosed and fixed a problem coolant leak. His rates are reasonable and his confidence extraordinary. His lifts are filled with high quality rides and his lot full of customers cars awaiting a professional servicing. The shop is spotless. In my case, a head gasket took just a couple days to repair. Take your luxury ride there with confidence. He has the answer at a fair price.
Pros: great shop and mechanics, fair pricing
Cons: none
