Rude Bartender
by shellyw67
Don't go there as long as Stevie still works there! She was rude and refused to serve some friends of mine all because of some boy! Childish behaviour that has no place in a public business! There are plenty of other places on Broadway that have great service and better music! Try the Second Fiddle, Legends or Tootsie's!
- Pros: decent music
- Cons: RUDE, Childish behaviour of employee
Traditional country watering hole attracts music fans from Nashville and beyond.

In Short
Smack in the touristy heart of lower Broadway, Bluegrass Inn caters to out-of-towners with nearly open-to-close live music and a welcoming, saloon-like vibe. Bands play with their backs to the front window, providing passersby with a little preview of the bluegrass, rockabilly or country tunes that are on tap for the evening. There's a small bar in the rear, an array of cocktail tables and plenty of room for dancing near the tiny stage.

I am a artist manger and I was so impressed with this man and his band. I can't believe no one has signed them yet. But if I have my way ... I'll have the privilege to sign them myself. This band is awesome! I have never seen an enterainer with so much energy and the man can sing his ass off! I highly recommend you stop in on a Sunday afternoon before 4:00 and catch his show. Samantha is an excellant guitarist. and Ben plays the hell out of the drums, and they both have awesome voices too. A must see while in Nashville!!!
- Pros: Entertaining, Fun, Great bar!
- Cons: None, None, None
Underrated country bar

The last time I was there, it was more rockabilly than bluegrass. But when they are playing bluegrass, it is my favorite place on Broadway. Incredible Nashville and Tennessee atmosphere.
- Pros: Atmosphere, Service
- Cons: Nothing

I can only hope TODD BOLTON goes on to fame and fortune. I've never been asked to come into a place before but glad I was by Todd. His voice is one of the best I've heard. Great stage presence. We wish him luck and had the best time in the Blue Grass that could be had.
- Pros: good music, fun, fun
- Cons: , none, none
TODD BOLTON, "WOW"!!!
by lavonne
Surely 100 percent enjoyed listing to TODD BOLTON while in Nashville on several trips. You'd think this guy owned the place, the way he makes you want to come in and makes you feel at home.
It's nice to see someone CARE if you're having a good time! Do you think he'll become a "tradition" at the Bluegrass Inn??????? I think he should.
Excellent place to visit while in Nashville..

On a recent Saturday afternoon a few of us stopped by the BGI. What a great time we had! There was a band named Mixt Company who were a joy to listen to. The harmonies are great and choice of song excellent. It was a nice change to hear something other than the normal standards that everyone else does.....keep up the good work!
- Pros: affordable, inviting
- Cons: needs remodled
Don't Bother Looking; This Is the Place!
by sumaqsumaq
The Bluegrass is a really great place to go, ESPECIALLY for the female tourists; that guy Jake is such a CHARMER! It's cool, laid-back...that is, except for the music which is blazin'! Happy birthday, Stud!
- Pros: the people, the doorman, the music
- Cons: all the way in, Nashville, Tennessee!
Kick-ass local fun!
by kustomkitten
On a recent roadtrip to TN, my fellow road sister and I stopped at the Bluegrass Inn after being disappointed with the 2nd street "tourist" bars/scene. The Bluegrass Inn was JUST what we wanted - fabulous music, fun-loving folks, and $3.50 beer...what could possibly make your night in Nashville any better?? Can't wait to go back!
- Pros: Small, Cozy place, Local hangout, Friendly folks!
