I heard this place was supposed to have great food. Went there for lunch and was very disappointed. The restaurant had a terrible odor and wasn't very clean. The food was like something I would make at home.

Pros: None

Cons: Food, atmosphere, location

I had high expecations of the Goldrush, being told it had awesome food. I went with a friend on a weekend. The wait staff was friendly and attentive, but the food was awful. I had a bean roll, basically it was a burrito. And it was horrible. The refried beans were extremely dry and salty and there were also bits of jalapeno in them. Which was not stated on the menu. My friend had a greasy italian sandwich with onion rings that were just okay. We both left feeling quite sick. And we will never go back.

  • Pros: good waitstaff
  • Cons: horrible food

This lil hole in the wall is one of my favorite places to kick back any time of the week. Smalling bartends the back bar and don't let the bald head fool you - he's one of the best bartenders in the Ville. The rice and bean burrito is insane, it's so good! First off it's huge - comes covered in white cheese and spicy jalapenos...mmmm....cheese. I wasn't a big fan of the pizza but everything else I have tried has been excellent. Another thing I love is you never know what kind of human is going to walk in. A perfect eclectic mix.

  • Pros: Service, cocktails, burritos, Smalling, Don
  • Cons: Parking

A friend of mine offered to take me out for a late night snack and of course I said yes. He asked if I knew about GoldRush, but of course I did not. As I pulled up to the bar I said to myself, another date bites the dust. I bumped my head on the the way in because there is a slight lift into the entry way, then a drop as you enter the bar. I ordered a Malibu and Pineapple for the drink and a Spicy Chicken B-Roll. I had no idea what a B-Roll was, but it was undeniably the best "burrito" I have ever tasted. I took my leftovers home and the next day it was gone. My father had eaten every piece of my food. I was so upset!! The next day he and my mother drove over 15 miles just to get a B-Roll Togo. Now every other Friday my mother stops at GoldRush and orders one Spicy Chicken B-Roll and one Beef B-Roll!!! (the parking is not that great, but the service takes up for everything else).. Two Thumbs Up!!!

  • Pros: Food, Service, Drinks
  • Cons: Parking

A legendary Nashville dive bar offers a mellow atmosphere for longtime customers and neighbors to relax.

I used to hang at the Goldrush all the time before I moved back to Maine. I have been back twice since it has been remodeled. The first time was a big shock. The second time not so bad. I love the place. May look a little different but still has the same feel. If you sit in The Rush long enough you will see everyone you know.

The Goldrush is my favorite after work hangout. Great location with live music right across the street! The new renovations have really made the place look great. The bartenders are some of my favorites in Nashville! I always feel welcome there and right at home.

  • Pros: inexpensive, great staff, not too crowded

I was stuck with the responsibility of picking somewhere to go for my birthday, and I picked this place at random. I really loved it! Our server was at the table taking our drink orders before we even sat down, and the drinks came right out. It wasn't too crowded, and the music wasn't so loud that we had to scream to hear each other. I highly recommend this place.

  • Pros: Friendly, Not too crowded, A+ Service
  • Cons: No parking
