Teh best place in downton Nashville to find name brand shoes.

First off--- Have you ever had one of those moments when you NEED the perfect heal to go with the perfect outfit at the very last minute? If you answered yes, then this is the place to be. This is one of the few areas in downtown Nashville. If your a tourist, consider this an easy hike up the hill from the honkey tonk bars on lower Broad... All-in-all---- if you go here expect to walk out the door with a few boxes under your arm and a smile because you found a great deal.
- Pros: Closes at 7pm CT, lost of heels, boots, sandals to choose, cheap prices and designer names.
- Cons: no sneakers or tennis shoes!
Quality casual and dress shoes for a fraction of the price.

In Short
This cavernous warehouse-sized building stocks rows and rows of discounted and clearance shoes as far as the eye can see. Everything from best-selling athletic ware like New Balance to Kenneth Cole sandals; from stylish pumps and heels to baby shoes is available at nearly wholesale prices. For men's shoes, head to the back of the store. Women's shoes are front and center. Also available: purses and shoe-related accessories.

I bought 4 pairs of shoes from there. Not cheap - Not Expensive... If you need shoes, you can buy from there. But if you try to find cheaper shoes, you should try other places...
inadequate quality guarantee
by demyan
This negative rating is based on a single negative experience; I don't know whether it is representative. $45 shoes I bought at the store had defective or just bad soles: after 4 months of moderate summertime city wear both soles had holes in them. The store manager denied my request for a partial refund, offering me to return the shoes and receive half-price in store credit. Communication was polite, the offer inadequate; the manager did not see a reason to compensate me for the bad quality of their merchandise.
- Pros: location
Best Shoe Store Ever!

I do not see how any woman can ever say that this is not the COOLEST place in the entire world! The shoes are amazing, the selection goes above and beyond any other discount shoe store in the world, and everyone is sooooo helpful! For anyone that thinks there is something wrong with this place really needs to check theirselves!
GO OFF BROADWAY!!!
- Pros: Awesome Selection, Good Service, AMAZING!
- Cons: , None, None

Disappointing
by PatriciaRoss
Lots of shoes but few high quality brands and limited styles (either way too practical or way to skimpy). And sling-backs -- they've been out of style for 20 years.
If there's a shoe heaven....

If there's a shoe heaven, I would have to think that it would closely resemble Off Broadway. While I love all three locations, the Opry Mills location has the most variety. You can try on as many pair as you like without pushy salespeople on commission in your face. The selection and price is beyond compare to any other store in Nashville. I don't really shop anywhere else but Off Broadway for shoes now. It's the best.
- Pros: value, variety, relaxed atmosphere
- Cons: crowded on weekends
