high hopes, low results

We would have been better off going to Motel 6! My finace & I planned a romantic evening. We chose the escape honeymoon the hotel suggested. Upon arrival, it took two hours for us to receive our champagne and truffles. The room was no better than any other motel & the bathroom tiles had mildew on them. Our bathtub for two barely fit one person. When we went down for breakfast, it turned out to be cold tasteless food. It was NOT worth the money we "wasted".
Pros: good valet, close to downtown, nice health spa
Cons: overpriced, bad food, no TV channels
