Not safe!. I won't write a very long review because I plan to write quite a few of these but here's the basics: 1) The rooms smell horrible! Very musty like an old abandoned building. 2) Dirty, sticky carpets.

3) Mold. I can't be absolutely sure but I believe it to be black mold. I have pictures to prove this! I just wish that I had found this on our first day instead of our last.

4) Unfriendly, rude staff.

5) Very narrow halls with huge open windows. It would be very easy for someone to fall out of them.

6) CREEPY, not very well lit parking garage.

7) Holes in blankets and towels

Pay a little more and stay somewhere else.

The worst ever!. This is the worst hotel we've ever stayed in. It is dirty and run down, we have stayed in better hotels in downtown Tiajuana!! Walls and ceilings are crumbling, there is mold in the showers the hallway carpets are filthy. The worst was after taking a shower and going to dry off, the towel smelled like dirty feet. Although we only paid around $65, trust me.....spend a little extra and stay somewhere else!

A great, inexpensive downtown location where security is not an issue.. The Scene
The key to the popularity of this Days Inn is its location. The guest list is sure to include a medical professional or two, due the proximity of the Vanderbilt, Baptist, Centennial, V.A. and St. Thomas Medical Centers, and a free shuttle is offered to medical students and patients Monday through Friday. Music lovers gravitate here for the Country Music Hall of Fame and Ryman Auditorium, while business travelers and their spouses take advantage of the nearby Nashville Convention Center, Civic Center and Opry Mills shopping.

The Details
This impressive, green-roofed hotel welcomes guests into a spacious foyer warmed by cozy, wing-backed chairs and an abundance of plants ... a fitting introduction to the hotel's comfortable standard guest rooms. A complimentary continental breakfast is served in the inviting breakfast area, while the pool area offers a casual setting for overheated days. A variety of fast food and ethnic restaurants are located nearby.

awful. I have sworn off Days Inns forever. This one was as bad as the other DI's I have stayed in recently. The 2 rooms we had were broken down and filthy. The carpets were the kind that turn your feet black when you go barefoot. I have seen this so many times! What is that? Everytime I complain I am told that construction workers have been staying there! Parking was tight but at least it was under cover. Breakfast was good.

older but good value. this DI dates from the late 60s though it's been renovated, shows some wear and tear. don't look for ambiaance here, but new management, friendly and helpful staff, and good location make it a good value in the area. better for visitors without cars as the parking's a bit difficult.
