Great music!

We were there on Saturday night and there was a great band playing. A hottie named Howard Frady was the lead man. Really great music! A good mixture of country songs. He was a great entertainer and had the audience eating out of his hand! Me included! While he took breaks, other musicians filled in, so there was never a lull in the excitement! Plus, Howard came out in the crowd and talked to everybody and had his picture made with people! Me and my girlfriends had a blast! He gave us his link for myspace account too. The bar itself was stifling hot, so we had to keep ducking out in the alley for air. And it was really smoky too. And the bathrooms were pretty rough. But the great music and the fun that we had dancing and meeting people made up for it!! Try the hot dogs too! They go down great with a cold beer!
- Pros: Music, Good social scene for meeting people
- Cons: Bathrooms small, air quality
Legendary location and consistently good live music keep the locals coming back.

In Short
Located on Nashville's infamous corridor, Printer's Alley, this bare-bones music saloon exudes an unrefined attitude that has made it a popular late-night haven. The interior is dimly lit, musty and warm. A small scattering of reclusive locals tend to occupy the place non-stop, favoring it over its trendier neighbors, and patrons are pleasantly surprised to find the music a cut above average. The drink selection is limited to basic domestic brews.
A cut above an other watering hole...

If you want to check out a good hang, try this place. Everyone is very friendly and the bands are always great. Been there on Tuesday and on the weekends, and the bands don't get much better, ANYWHERE. Got a cool sunken dance floor too. Bonus: No Cover!! Just tip the bands.
- Pros: Friendly peolple, Music, Inexpensive
