After 10 years of living in Nashville and hearing how wonderful Stock Yard was, I couldn't beleive I was finally getting to go. The service was good and that was about it. The atmosphere was nothing special, the food was good, but not great, yet the price was more than I have ever paid! Surf and Turf was a sirloin (not a filet) and about 5 bites of a lobster tail...all for $70?? Way over priced. I was with 3 other people who all described the food as "it was ok". Beleive it or not, I would much have preferred an Outback Steakhouse steak to what I got and the price would have been a fraction of what we paid. I can't even say I'm glad I finally at least went....because truth be told, I wish I had my money back in the bank. I won't be back.
