Wonderful dining experience! Growing up my family lingered over cheese fondue many Sunday afternoons. My first Melting Pot dinner was reminiscent of those family gatherings. I spent the evening dipping... and loving it! All the food was excellent -- the meat/seafood fondue was a new experience for me. The servers were friendly, courteous, and remarkably well-informed. The atmosphere was one that begs you to linger. Bring someone you enjoy spending hours with, and enjoy every moment!
- Pros: Quality food & wine, Excellent service, Great atmosphere

Thank you for so many wonderful nights. I have eaten at you restaurant 8 times this year, and each time I felt that it was all about me. Your staff has a way of making diners feel very special. The food is delicious and fun, the atmosphere is positive, playful, and romantic. I can't think of a better place to spend a relaxing evening with people I care about. Thank you again, from an appreciative teacher.

Seinfeld and Fondue--a dynamic duo
by dawny at Citysearch
The Melting Pot is hospitality at its finest!! We were late for our reservation and worried about time since we were going to TPAC, but the hostess told us not to worry and made sure our service was expedited. In fact, the manager suggested we come back after the show for dessert since we wanted to try all 4 courses. Everything was great! I was so stuffed after the cheese and salad, that when the entree arrived I was glad we were coming back for chocolate. After the show, I was so impressed how nice everyone was. We had the same server and he remembered what chocolate we had said we wanted and had it ready in no time. What a wonderful evening with two great shows--one at TPAC and the other at The Melting Pot!
- Pros: service, intimate, guest-oriented
- Cons: longer dining time
Fantastic Fondue!

What a great evening. My husband and I arrived for our 7:00p.m. reservation and were promptly seated. He had roses with a thoughtful note waiting for me at our table. Jonna our server she was like a tour guide. She made wonderful suggestions but was not intrusive. She suggested a bottle of the Cloudy Bay Sauvignon Blanc from New Zealand - a difficult to find bottle that we had been wanting to try. We really enjoyed the tableside cheese fondue presentation. The best part was the Porcini Pepercorn dusted filet, it was one of the seven items on the approppriately named "Big Night Out entree platter. For dessert my husband fed me fresh berries dip in the luscious chocolate. He loved it, I loved it - We loved it - Fantastic
- Pros: Romantic, Fun, Liesurely
- Cons: Left stuffed
Melting Pot----NOT !!!!!!

This place is not worth going to for the experience and I would never go back. It is fun until they are rude to you. The food is not even decent. You get very simple raw food and way to little of it. The cheese is stale at best. The atmosphere is a very lacking, and the service is very poor. You will wait up to an hour or more to for your table even with a reservation. Very pricey meal for self-service. Melting Pot-NOT!
- Pros: Love and Hour Wait, Love Rude Service, Love Slow Service
- Cons: Over Priced, Low Quality Food, Bad Service

where is the beef
by Drew at Citysearch
Where is the beef...little cubes of raw meat...any 4 dollar hamburger has more meat than that and at least they cook it for you...and for the pleasure of cooking it yourself you blow at least a hundred bucks in the process...I think the staff must go home laughing every night at how stupid we are for blowing our money there...I was not laughing when I got the check I was crying at how dumb I was !!!!!!!!!! The next time I feel like doing it myself I am going to a car wash!!!
- Pros: where is the beef, eat before you come, blow a hundred bucks
- Cons: rude, slow to be seated, way over priced
Orgasmicly Delicious
by Kristenfun at Citysearch
Perfection. With friendly service to keep you smiling, a relaxing atmosphere that includes wine bottles for light fixtures, and a cuisine so delicious that it makes you "ooo" and "mmm" with pleasure, the Melting Pot superceded all of my expectations. If you are expecting some sort of fast food, prepackaged junk then this is not for you. Being given the ability to cook your own main course is extremely entertaining and it gives you time to enjoy your food even moreso. If the idea of crackling oil terrifies you, then choose their boiling boullion method. The dessert is most exquisite; I highly suggest this place for a romantic evening out.
- Pros: Cultural!, Tasty!, Different!
