Night Out

This was our first time at The Melting Pot and my first time in Nashville! It was wonderful. It had been recommended to me by a coworker and I have to say I would recommend it to anyone who wants to try something different, and romantic! Our server, Mechelle, was so attentive and courteous. The price is a little more than the "normal" restaurant but this place is anything but "normal". Thank you for a wonderful night out. If I am ever close to there again I will go there again!!! Thank you! =)

Something Special

My husband and I try to go a few times a year. I look forward to a wonderful evening. Everything is perfect. From the salads, to the cheese, to the meats, and to the dessert. I have never tasted anything as succulent as their chocolate. My favorite is the yin/yang. White chocolate and dark chocolate make the yin/yang in perfect form. The atmosphere is cozy and quiet. Ahhhh!

I cannot think of any other term to describe the food/service/ambience of Melting Pot. The "flaming turtle" dessert is absolute bliss! It is a terrific date location!

DIP AWAY!!!

If you are looking for something fun, adventurious, and a bit sensual then look no futher then the melting pot. I should preface this review by stating that my guest and I are both in the culinary field. The service was through and very attentive. The food well seasoned. The enjoyment of cooking tableside and having so many different dipping options was a real treat. The price is very reasonable and the portion size would make any lineman content. I feel the ambiance leans toward a more romantic evening rather than a night out with the kids. Give this place a whirl and you will not be disappointed.

Melting Pot is Excellent!!

My boyfriend and I went for dinner. They were sooo wonderful! Service was excellent, food was fresh. Dessert was to die for. We go just for dessert sometimes!! Great for a romantic dinner or something new!

Ohhh so romantic....

The setting is simple, which leaves enough room for your own, personal ambience... Of all the things, there is only one possible improvement for the Melting Pot I can think of: give us more TIME! The rest is fabulous, romantic, cosy, everything you need to snuggle with your date around the pot. Just the time.... please don't rush this sensual delight! And don't forget that desert...!!

Could Not Wait Until Valentines Day

Thought I would call ahead for Valentines Day reservations. They were already sold out. So I decided to take my wife last weekend - pat myself on the back. I had a dozen roses along with a nice card with a note the restaurant personalized for me. Actually the manager told me to call back when I had thought of something special to say to her and he made sure it was waiting at the table.

The food was great - the service was excellent and we both enjoyed the liesurely pace.

Trust me - this is a sure thing.

Melting Pot is a wonderful place--great food, great service, great atmosphere to settle in and spend time with friends. Also great for romantic special occasions. Could fill up just on the cheese and chocolate courses, but who could turn down the California salad and filet?

My New Favorite Restaurant

I love this place. Finally a chance to enjoy good food at a liesure pace. The Service is attentive and human (not robotic - you know what I mean) obviously well trained.

Most Important - My date loved it and she was thrilled to go - apparently a previous date was not thoughtful enough to call ahead for a reservation.

The high price of a good time

If you are looking for something unique and you aren't that hungry, this is the place to go. The service is great, the atmosphere is great, the food is okay. Prepare to spend at least 2 hours here. Fondue is a fun time and definitely promotes taking your time to eat. However, it is impossible to spend less than $75 here.
