Fairways are always in great shape and the greens roll true.
Pros: Consistent, Great Service
Cons: Pricey, Sometimes crowded

I love this course and the people who work there. It is a wonderful place to spend an afternoon and an even better place to learn something. I sincerely believe that Virgil Herring is a genius at golf instruction, check him out.

Worth the drive and well worth the money. If you like carpet like fairways and green and soft greens this is your only choice. Not once have I been there where they have had burnt out greens or fairways. The maintenance staff is courteous when you are trying to hit or putt and the rest of the staff is knowledgeable and really go out of their way to help out.
Pros: Awesome courses, Great staff, Practice facility
Cons: More bev carts

What a terrific experience. We are frequent visitors to Nashville, but this was our first visit to the Hermitage. It will definately not be our last. We intend to play there every chance we get. The General's Retreat course was great and we look forward to trying President's Reserve. The staff was exceptional and the course itself was immaculate. Outstanding!

Hermitage Golf Course is an outstanding golf course. It has 2 18 hole courses, each excellently designed. The General's Retreat has the basic style of most courses, but it is in a much higher standing. Its my favorite of the 2 courses. The Presidental Reserve has a country style, complete with a barn. It has murky ponds, tall rolling weeds and tall trees. This course is a bit more difficult than its neighbor, The General's Retreat.

I didn't know wheteher to tee off or just bring my camera and shoot away at one of the most naturally beautiful golf scenes in this part of the country.... great greeens too.
Pros: Beautiful, Excellent Service, Fan-Cooled greens
Cons: too $$ for avg golfer
