My husband and I absolutely love this place. We go for all of our special dates. They even send us gift certificates when it gets close to our birthdays & anniversary. The staff is very friendly and knowledgeable. The owner has came to check on us everytime we have eaten there. The food is great. Our favorite is the Cajun, blackened Prime Rib & Ribeye but we haven't tried anything that wasn't good. The atmosphere is very relaxed. This isn't a place that you would want to take smaller children though. It's more for adults to enjoy talking to each other over a glass of wine.

HORRIBLE!! This place is SO overrated. Staff: Not helpful. Food: Yech. (Steak was grainy; lobster had no taste.) Very overpriced for the blah that this place is. Avoid.

Pros: None

Cons: Overpriced; Food not good

Dont let the outside fool you, this is a very nice restaurant. The food is awesome and the service is fantastic, the piano is a nice touch also. I had the new york strip, very nice, and my wife had the spagehtti. You get a large salad to start with, which is a meal in itself. It was my birthday,so they gave me a free dessert some kind of key lime cheesecake pie which was very good. I would recommend this restaurant to anyone, deffinetly great for an anniversary or romantic dinner.

Pros: Great Food

Cons: Outside appearence can be misleading

I read the reviews on here prior to going my first time and didn't expect much. BOY WERE SOME OF YOU WRONG! The food was excellent - priced about the same as a trip to Outback... A mix of Greek, Italian & Mediterranian flavors from what I could tell. Excellent Wine Selection. The service was great - even the owner came to check on us. Okay - so it's not full of "5-star" decorations but they aren't passing that cost on to you either... Eating out costs money - realize that first and you won't be disappointed. We were seated within 1 minute. My salad was an excellent Caesar - how can you mess that up? My wife had the Prime Rib and raved about it - I had the New York Strip which was AWESOME. My advice - make your own opinion and don't take any of our's seriously...

Pros: Good Food, Good Service, Good Selections

Cons: Average Decor

I love Greek food!!!! So, when I moved to Murfreesboro, the obvious place to get Greek food in my opinion would be the Parthenon Steak House. I was wrong. There were hardly any genuine Greek items on the menu. I felt like I went to Demos' mixed with some Italian food. The good thing is, from growing up Southern, I love sweet tea. The Parthenon has pretty good sweet tea.

Pros: sweet tea

Cons: , No Greek Food, Over Priced

I appreciate the Parthenon not only for the steaks, but also their Med. influence cuisine. The saganaki and spanokopita are excellent, and the Veal Diane and Oscar are mouth watering. On nights when there is Musaka, the restaurant is truly inspired. The baklava is filling without being heavy.

This restaurant was a consistent disappointment to my husband and I every time we dined there. We found the food to be average but the service, decor and location dreadful. We made half a dozen visits and spent around $70-$160 on each visit only to leave each time saying wed never return. Our last visit was truly our last when after again waiting over 20 minutes for anyone to acknowledge we had been seated and yet again watching tables seated after us being approached and drink orders taken and delivered did we approach a manager to inform them of the situation. To our surprise the manager we tried to relay our concerns to was unconcerned and conveyed to us no sense of customer awareness.

They have the best prime rib, and with the side of mushrooms--it's the most wonderful meal. Save room for appetizers and desserts. I recommend the Parthenon dip when available. You can also tell they spend quality time making their desserts. Try the tiramisu and cheesecakes. Phenomenal!!! Not only is the food great, but the atomosphere as well. The staff is extremely friendly and helpful and when the piano man is in, it's fun. GO! You won't be sorry.

Pros: Relaxed, Friendly, Delicious

Cons: May need sweater
