THE best chinese restaurant in Murfreesboro...period...
by Timndaboro
This is not the average Chinese restaurant, the setting is an old pizza joint, not much to look at but the food is out of this world. This is a new twist to Chinese cuisine, they serve Gourmet Chinese, Thai, Szechuan, Hunan, and Mandarin. The fried rice is TRUE fried rice not that yellow rice. The vegetables are fresh and sliced thick, they will prepare your dish to order. I highly recommend BoBo especially when you want to stay in and enjoy great Chinese. They deliver and open 7 days a week till 10 pm. This place rocks...
- Pros: Great food, they deliver, open late...
- Cons: old restaurant not too romantic...
Really good fresh food

Very good food, great delivery service. I have always had a great experience here. The employees are all very friendly and courteous also.
Dirty, Dingy Decor and Mediocre Food
by sadiebess
I found the musty odor and thick layer of dust that coated the walls in this restaurant very unappetizing to begin with, but I figured I'd give the food a shot. Unfortunately, the food we ordered was not good at all. The crab in the Crab Cheese Wontons tasted off, and the Shrimp Toast oozed a suspicious cloudy fluid when poked with a fork. Overall, I found the experience very disappointing.
- Cons: Very musty and dusty. Food was not fresh.
Good food, good service

Bobo's has an excellent menu. Love the shrimp toast. Everytime we are in the "Boro we eat here.
Decent Chinese in the Boro.

Good quality, made-to-order Chinese that is a nice alternative to the average Chinese buffet. My initial litmus test for a Chinese restaurant is the quality of the soups, and both the wonton and hot & sour were very good. Entrees were tasty and not too greasy, and the service was better than average. Order from the "Special" and get soup, apetizers, hot tea & entree for a reasonable price. Private booths make for a semi-romantic meal. I would recommend this restaurant.
- Pros: Food, Service
- Cons: Old decor
Hey, No Buffet!!

Bobo's is great. There isn't a buffet so there is no old, dried out food that's just been sitting there hoping someone would come in and eat. Bobo's serves everything fresh from the menu, but the great things is that you pay about the same as you would for the buffet at some other restaurant. Bobo's is always our first choice when we're craving Chinese food.
