Really?

Not even close to being good. At all. Subpar sandwich, average BBQ sauce, sub-par side items, tiny building. This place would make BBQ lovers from Memphis, St. Louis, or TX absolutely cringe.

I love strouds!

We have brought Stroud's in at work and also it is on the short list of where we go out to. Good food and very afforable! You can't go wrong! Love the nachos but also sandwhiches are good and pudding is YUMMY!

• Cons: No ambiance or service really - order a window and seat yourself.

BBQ Nachos - THE BEST!

I work in Brentwood, and every Friday, I think of Stroud's. I absolutely LOVE the BBQ Nachos.....and I have sent many people to try them, with the same results. I am planning on having a dinner party tomorrow night, and yes, it will be Stroud's nachos.

The location in Brentwood is convienent, the ONLY thing I do not like about this Stroud's are the hours! They close way to early, specially on Saturday.

Oh, and the banana pudding.....is to DIE FOR!

Garbage

This place is garbage.. The best BBQ is at Jim 'N Nick's BBQ in either West Nashville, Smyrna or M'Boro. I wouldn't eat Whitt's or this Strouds garbage.

Best BBQ Nachos!!!!!

I absolutely love the BBQ Nachos! The staff is always very friendly and the food is great. I highly recommend the Nachos, they are the Friday special for $5.00, and loaded with lots of meat.

BLAND

This was the most bland bbq I have ever tasted. It had no smoked flavor at all. I would prefer whitts over this and I'm not crazy about whitts either. you should try one little piggy in white house.

Too many other choices with better service

I gave Stroud's 2 stars since the food is good (I always get the turkey), but Whitt's is just as good if not better. Living in Mid TN there is an abundance of restaurants, so service makes the difference for me. I have been to Stroud's numerous times, and satisifed with the food. But the last time I went I spent $25 on a meal deal and asked for a couple of plates and forks, the middle aged woman said ok, but it would cost me a dollar (guessing she was the owner, maybe the reason for her stinginess). I said never mind, i would swing by my house and get the $.01 worth of plates and forks. I know it was only a dollar, but it was the principal, I just paid $25 for a meal and she was too stingy to give me a plate where anywhere else it comes with the meal...I could have gone to KFC and ordered an ice water and asked for plates, utensils, napkins, cups, butter, honey, and every other condiment and I would have been given that....From now on I will always go to Whitt's where they have better hours, the same food, better prices, and much better service!!!

Bones in the BBA Strouds Lebanon,Tn.

All I will write is we found bone slivers in our BBQ & we have a 5 yo daughter. Called the mgr and he basically said I hate it for you. We will never return to Lebanon Strouds!

• Pros: bone slivers througout BBQ and mgr could care less.
• Cons: used to be our favorite - visited once a week.

The best pulled pork in town!

After having read the ridiculous negative review in this site.........it sounds more like a personal grudge than a review of the food quality. Stroud's is absolutely the best pulled pork available anywhere. Try the picnic pack for the perfect Titans tail gate or hassle-free family dinner. You'll be a fan for life.

My husband loved it!

I wanted to surprise my Memphis born husband, so I ordered 7lb of pulled pork and 4 slabs of ribs from Stroud's, to be shipped to NY. Their service was fantastic! My husband loved the pulled pork and their sauce (and he's pretty fussy about his bbq). We haven't tried the ribs yet but I'm looking forward to them. In response to the other posting, I hate Spam and can usually only eat bbq in moderation, but I will be ordering again soon. Stroud's tastes really good!
