Best BBQ in town!!
by triman at Citysearch
Smoky, tender delicious ribs and cheap beer - HEAVEN!! They smoke all of there meat on-site with hickory fired pits - not commisary or corporate. Sauce is great also. Most other Nashville BBQ seems to be using vinegar sauce - yuk! I like the actual food better here in Nashville than the original in Memphis. Memphis has a better ambience, "energy" and lots more grime - but the food is better here in Nashville.
I bring all out of towners to Corky's and they rave about the quality and flavor. Can't get BBQ like this up north.
I ordered their party pack for 4TH of July party and it was awesome. I had huge portions and thought I'd over ordered, but my guests couldn't stop eating it. HUGE success! I think I just started a tradition.
Go try for yourself. Forget the hype and TASTE THE FOOD!! You wont regret.
- Pros: FOOD, Service, Value
- Cons: Entrance / Exit
Best BBQ in town!!!
by jacksonboy at Citysearch
I absolutely love this place. I eat there several times a month and would do so more if it was closer. Best ribs in town and my wife loves the smoked turkey. Only place that I have seen that serves collard green and their unique style of potato salad. Place has great oldies music playing and the staff is very friendly. I always have a manager stop by and say hello when I'm there. Nice to go to a place where you always feel like a "local".
- Pros: Only place that has dry rub ribs in town.
- Cons: It takes me 30 mins to get there.
Don't get it to go
by scarlettshafer at Citysearch
Good barbeque, in general. But don't get it to go. I got a side of fried ocra. They packaged it in a plastic container sealed with a lid. Guess what I got when I got home...Mushy ocra in mushy crust. It was really disgusting. They've been around for years, so I'm really suprised that they haven't figured this problem out before. I called the store and spoke with the manager, Dale, and he said that he's never had a complaint about that before and they always package the ocra that way. Well, I'm guessing that no one else wanted to take the time to complain that their ocra was mush. But, I'm not in the business of throwing money away and when I order a side, I expect to get what I paid for.
Not impressed

BBQ sandwich and fries for like $9, not worth the price. Terrible service, the place was not very busy and still had a bad waitress. Wouldn't go back.
decent food at decent prices

we've struggled to find "the best bbq" in nashville for some time. im not sure corky's is it. but they are consistent, the food's not bad, and is reasonably priced. their ribs are quite good, pork is tasty, their "homemade" sauces range from sweet to damn-hot and they have a great beer special which is too cheap to turn down. kids menu is plentiful (includes ribs!) and the atmosphere, while somewhat unoriginal chain restaurant-y looking, is family friendly. we'll go back when wondering where to eat ribs, until we find some place better...
- Pros: family friendly, reasonable prices, consistent food quality
- Cons: uninspired, busy and loud at times
Suburbanites dig into platters of pork at this laid-back barbecue joint.

In Short
A franchise of the famous Corky's in Memphis, this barn-style barbecue joint attempts to bring a little piece of Beale Street to Brentwood. The cool, dark interior doesn't sport a bar, but booths are usually filled with folks nursing beers and listening to piped-in blues. Families congregate at larger tables to enjoy dinners with all the trimmings. The menu offers barbecue in its many forms, from pulled pork to shrimp on a stick.
Memphis is better
by kimber413 at Citysearch
For those who don't like the franchise in the Nashville area, make the drive to Memphis and have the original. Much better. But while you're there, try The Rendezvous. THAT'S far and away the best BBQ I've ever had anywhere in the U.S.A.
- Pros: Ambience, Service, Inexpensive
CORKY'S IN MEMPHIS IS BETTER
by tmcgriff at Citysearch
THE CORKY'S HERE JUST DOESN'T CAPTURE THE FLAVOR PROFILES, AMBIANCE OR SERVICE LIKE THE ORIGINAL ONE IN MEMPHIS.
NOT BAD BBQ FOR THESE PARTS THOUGH.
Great Bar-B-Q

This is the place you take visitors for BarBQ. The ribs, beef and pulled pork are all excellent and the sauce keeps you wanting to come back for more. I have tried both the wet and dry rub ribs and most partial to the wet ribs. Enjoy.
- Pros: great food, take out window
- Cons: deep frid dill pickle
