I don't want to sound judgmental but I was raised by a very Godly father who knew the bible from front to back. In the bible, it states that you should do all your alms in private. You are not supposed to use God for personal gain in any way. The commercial for Antioch Auto Center went from bad to worse. The first commercial they said "in the name of our Lord, Jesus Christ" which was already using God's name for personal gain and then, the second commercial goes into more detail about their belief and service to God by the owner having his wife talk about it also. Their only way of being successful is to truly follow God's way by serving him in private. Using your love for God in advertising for your business is no better than using God's name in vain, in my opinion. RJM Antioch, TN

I have used Antioch Auto Center for at least 3 years. I have 3 girls driving now and would not let them drive the cars that they purchased without having these folks check the car out first. I know that once Rocky and his techs have checked out the vehicle, it is roadworthy. I have never known them to mislead or try to cheat anyone. Now, like the rest of us they are human. I'm sure that mistakes have been made, but I have not experienced a mistake to date. I would highly recommend Antioch Auto Center to anyone who needs any type of auto repair

Pros: Dependable and honest

Cons: They are very busy, so there may be a wait.

Sometimes proper diagnosis is more important than the treatment ... we were recently advised by the shop doing our routine car maintenance and repairs that the crankshaft was shot and in need of immediate repair ... and to put the car in good running order, the car was in probable need of AC repair, including a new blower motor; and the windshield wiper motor(s) needed replacing. In addition, what was described as the front bumper assembly needed replacing. They elected not to undertake the job because of the crankshaft and blower motor tasks but gave us their time and cost estimates for everything ... and as ours is an old 1994 Cadillac STS ... both were shocking to the system. Upon my request, they recommended the Antioch Auto Center which turned out to be one of those companies advertising their Christianity. The proof of such claims being of course in the eating, I withheld judgment but made an appointment for the following week to obtain an estimate, explaining the importance of obtaining the information as quickly as possible as this is currently our only car and my wife must frequently travel from Antioch to Vanderbilt for Cancer treatment. I don't know but imagine that they routinely provide similar service to that which I received. We were certainly pleasantly surprised when, within three hours, they had evaluated and repaired/replaced everything except the blower motor ... and within five hours, the total job was completed ... for a combined cost of less than $900! Their diagnosis and repairs appear to be on spot and first rate ... and the difference between what we were expecting relative to both time and cost... and what was experienced ... borders on what some would describe as a miracle. However, methinks it's the rule rather than the exception for them! I'm impressed as they not only talk the talk as do so many, it appears that they also walk the walk! Theywere as good as ... make that better than ... advertised!

Pros: We have no complaints

Cons: They're very busy but that's to be expected because of the quality of their work and service.

Clearly the "kitten" posting the1st comment is confused. None of what she (?) says makes sense. Mechanics work hard and don't make $7.00 or even $12.00 per hour anymore. Any person with common sense knows that an auto repair business charges more for parts than you can buy them for yourself. Here's the rub. If you buy the part yourself, and if it's bad, there is not warranty on the part and labor. You will have to take the part back yourself, exchange it and bring it back for installation. That means you will pay 3 separate labor rates. Don't assume you purchased the correct part either. Toyota means $$$$$$ Also, just because you don't understand someone's methodology, don't assume that they are trying to rip you off. I don't understand plumbing and let me tell you they charge a lot of money. I don't accuse them of ripping me off because they work hard and show me what they've done. I know very little about plumbing so as long as the work is done properly, I am satisfied. Base point. I would think twice about accusing a Christian of lying. God hears everything and I wouldn't want to end up like the Apostle Paul (formerly Saul of Tarshish) in having to learn the hard way to leave the Bretheren alone. If you want a true assessment of Antioch Auto Center, check with the following organizations. Abundant Life Christian Center, South Star, New Horizons, Christ Church, Homestyle Bakery, Mr. Transmission in Madison, TN, Lighthouse Christian, Antioch Church of Christ, Lakeshore Christian Church and the list goes on and on. Also, it's not Sally and Shayna. It's Sally and China.

Pros: Honest people

Cons: Very Busy and hard to get car in sometimes.

So, we took the roomie to get her ride fixed up; shes been having some basic car troubles and wanted her oil and battery cables changed out in a beaten-up old camry. She called them last weekend and was quoted $30-60 for the battery cables. shes already got a set for $20. all she needs is for them to be fitted. four hours after we drop the ride off, they call and tell us we need a new starter, which will be $300. she tells them she doesnt want it, and asks how much the battery cables are going to be. they call her back with $120. she declines, and sticks with the oil change. when we go in to pick the ride up, the guy says "i know it seems steep for battery cables... but the cables alone are like... $40." she tells him yeah, it does seem steep, as she was quoted $30-60 for the fitting last week, and shes already bought cables for $20. he then tells her that if she takes the $40 cables out, its only $60 they are charging. so, 40 + 60 = 120 ? Clearly the cute dogs are the ones doing the math at Antioch Auto. the only thing keeping these confused and confusing mechanics from scooping 0/10 is the fact the oil change came in at a reasonable $27 including tax. Serving god through serving the community apparently means ripping people off and messing them around; its a good job sally and shayna are in charge of smiles [as well as estimates] because seriously, I'm not smiling.

Pros: Cheap Oil change

Cons: Quoted different prices by different mechanics, tried to push unnecessary work.
