Logans at Hickory Hollow....Toby at the bar and Chandra the waitress are great....wife and I eat there at least 2-3 times a month...menu is good old fashioned comfort food, well prepared and at a very reasonable price....steaks are a good value, salads with dinner just the right size, and the bread is

excellent.....two thumbs way up !!!

AVOID at all costs!

by xeon2k

I'm going to make this one quick... DO NOT WASTE YOUR TIME OR MONEY! I have given this place too many opportunities to make a dining experience enjoyable for my wife and I. We have had consistently bad service, food that was terrible, and worst of all a really rude staff. To be fair, the rude staff incident was from the Logan's on West End ave. On TWO occasions, my wife ordered the mashed potatoes to go with her meal. They arrived at the table and were brown and rubbery (as if they had been sitting out for hours). The manager of this location told us that "They must have SCRAPED those off of the bottom of the pan!" This was after her having to personally RE-cook my steak which was served to me "Burnt-to-a-crisp" vs. "Medium Rare"!

On a positive note, there is an Outback Steak house about a minute away from this dump!

Nashville-based steakhouse chain known for serving up large portions of meat and potatoes.

by Contributor

In Short
Founded in 1991, this company-owned and franchised eatery is famous for one thing: steak. With a decor reminiscent of the classic wood-paneled roadhouses that lined Route 66, this restaurant serves up mouth-watering, gigantic portions of mesquite-grilled and hand-cut steaks. Families and friends with rumbling stomachs start off with bottomless peanuts before diving into sirloins, rib-eyes and prime rib. Bigger appetites go for the 20-oz. porterhouse. Lighter, non-red-meat items include teriyaki-grilled chicken and Santa Fe tilapia.

How long was this under a heat lamp????

by discusbabe

How does this location stay in business? Drive past this one, and try another Nashville location- this one is sub-par

Service- slow. Food- overcooked and tough (like it was under heat lamps too long) Prices- poor value.

Just Good Fun

Logan's is a favorite for Friday nights. Happy hour from 8-10 is great! My husband and I both enjoy the menu and you can't complain about the price (pretty reasonable). We have always had fairly good service. Our favorite is the one on Hickory Hollow Parkway.

Not For Me

by uwish86

I think Logan's is one of the most overrated restaurants in America, and this one at Hickory Hollow is the worst I have seen. Lousy service and way too noisy, and way too busy for how bad it is. Go to Courtyard Cafe and get a REAL steak!
