I want to thank all of those people that have used my services in the past and regret not being able to serve you or any other cutomers in the Nashville area anymore.The State of Tennessee requires all locksmiths to be licensed thru the Dept. of Commerce and Insurance. I will not go into details but after trying many avenues to get a license and continue my business, it is not going to happen.I do have some valuable info before you invite just anyone to do work for you.Ask questions about the price and will it be the same price after they arrive.Are they licensed in this state? Call around and get at least 3 estimates. Do they offer warrantys on the work performed? Those who take offence or get upset over asking questions are probably not someone you would want to deal with. On average the price of unlocking a vehicle should be around 40-50 dollars. A house a little more. Be careful out there and use good judgement.

Not a registered locksmith with the state of Tennessee?

I just went to the state's license site, and I searched for countywide locksmith. Unfortunately they have denied him a locksmith license. Too bad, I was about to call him. You can search by business name, or search by license id #: 240 Go to the website to see for yourself: licsrch.state.tn.us

Walks the walk!

After recently buying a new home and having to make several tangible & intangible purchases, I was reminded how SO many businesses out there practice poor customer service and fail to do what they say they will. Billy was a refreshing surprise. Called him at 2pm on a Monday and he was out at my house by 2:45. Was very professional and conscientious of his work. Double checked every lock before he left and even fixed a door that was not set right. I would recommend this guy a thousand times over.

Believe all the reviews! I was skeptical at first but just moved into a house and desperatly need to change my locks. i called Billy at 7pm and he was at my house by 8pm. He was able to change all 13 of my locks wihtout a single problem. He double checked every lock and made sure the same key fit all the doors without any problems. He was curtious, efficient and extremly cheap. you cannot find anyone out there who will charge this price and get teh same amount of work ethic out of them. I highly recommend Billy.

FAST!!

Well believe the reviews about this guy, because he is AWSOME! I called him this afternoon at around 5:20something, and considering it was afternoon rush hour he was at my house by 5:45 and had my car unlocked in less than 2 minutes! No joke. $40.00 well worth it. Not a bad price for central Nashville. GREAT! GREAT! GREAT! GREAT!

The only locksmith I'll call from now on

When I recently moved into an older home, I wanted all of the external locks throughout the house rekeyed. With a knob-lock and a deadbolt on every door, it wasn't a small job to begin with. To top it off, some of my locks are probably nearly as old as the house itself (going on 75 years), so they're temperamental, to say the least. Billy came out the same day I called, and completed the task efficiently, making sure to check with me which locks I wanted on matching keys, and matching the colors of the hardware, where possible. Then, a week later, when one of the aging locks started acting up, he came out again at no charge to see if he could diagnose the problem, and make sure that it wasn't his work that was faulty. While he wasn't able to fix it completely (we'll need to find a specialty part from an antique lock dealer), he offered great suggestions for alternatives, spent time explaining exactly what the problem was and how the mechanism should work, and didn't charge us a cent extra for his time. It's rare to find someone who takes that amount of pride in his work, and for that, I can't thank him enough!

Wonderful service!

I needed my new home rekeyed. I contacted Billy, and he came out the same day. He was prompt, courteous, and went beyond the call of normal duty, even fixing one of my locks that had broken. His prices were very reasonable (read: you won't find a better deal); I am completely satisfied and very happy with the results. Thanks, Bill! I will definitely be using him again, should the need arise.

Locksmith you can TRUST!

Billy is by far the most thorough locksmith out there. We have been through a few with the older doors on our home and upon seeing the reviews here gave him a call. He followed up as promised on the day we discussed. He spent the time needed to fully dismantle and rebuild our older lock. He was courteous, professional and very thorough..and after having to spend over an hour at our home...extremely reasonable. Billy could be like those other "charge and run" locksmiths but he shows a pride and commitment to service in his work that eclipses all our other experiences. You can't go wrong in calling Billy and Countrywide.

Wonderful service

Billy came quickly to rekey my locks at my home. When he realized that the lockI had bought would not fit the hole in the door, he put the old one back on and made recommendations to me about how to fix the door. He corrected the striker plate and made 5 new keys for me, right there! He was very fast, professional, and his rate was very reasonable! I would recommend Countywide to anyone!
