Amazing Photos!

Josh shot our wedding in May and the pictures are absolutely amazing! His style of photojournalism captured the true emotion of the day and fit our personalities perfectly. When we shared the photos with our guests we had many remark that they looked like they came straight out of a magazine spread. He and Annie are a delight to work with, they both went above and beyond to help with anything we needed during the planning process and couldn’t have been more wonderful the day of the wedding.

Beautiful Wedding Photos!

From my first phone consultation with Josh, I felt an instant connection to his vision for wedding photography. He explained that he likes to capture moments naturally and liked to create a relaxing environment. This is exactly what we encountered from start to finish.

We knew that the photos from our wedding would be cherished for years to come, and this was one of the most important aspects of our event (besides the dress, of course!) We also knew that most photographers do not grant the rights of printing photos, and this was also an important factor that Josh understood as well.

He was also very upfront in the fact that our wedding venue (Scarritt Bennett) would be dark, which is not the ideal situation. However, the photos turned out beautiful and evoke a truly romantic feel, which is what I envisioned from the start. We also benefited from great weather, which gave us the opportunity to shoot outdoors. Josh scouted out the perfect spots to make use of the gorgeous architecture of our venue.

Overall, the experience with Josh and his assistant was wonderful. They were extremely easy going, yet vocal enough to keep us going. He was constantly snapping away, even at non-posed times, which created natural looks and smiles (it can be a funny feeling to be photographed for a long period of time, if your not used to it!). We highly recommend Reeder Weddings, and are extremely happy with our choice of photographer, because he truly captured all of our special moments.

The BEST photographer...

We could not of been happier with Josh Reeder as our photographer. He has such an eye for great photography... he captured the most incredible photos of our wedding... you will NOT go wrong with him! Thanks Josh for giving us such great photo memories which we will forever have... Liesl and Kevin

Josh and Annie's talent, personalities, and genuine help captured the memories of our wedding ceremony from start to finish. We cannot tell you how much we appreciate their artwork, attention to detail, and professionalism. They don't just know your stuff (photography-wise), they pay close attention to what you want. That's what we have to look at for years to come - top-notch photos of the moments that we want to remember forever.

An incredible wedding experience!!!

When we began to start planning our wedding, we quickly realized how important and difficult finding a great wedding photographer can be. We searched online, talked to friends, and talked to countless wedding photographers, before we found Josh. He was recommended to us by one of our friends and after talking to him and exploring his web site we quickly called to book him. We really wanted a unique approach to remembering our wedding, someone who would capture the moments as they happened without everything looking staged. We could not have been happier!!!! Josh and his wife Annie were professional, courteous, and really listened to what we wanted. Their unique photojournalism style really captured what we were looking for. We would highly recommend Redder Weddings to anyone looking to get married. Not only will you get hundreds of incredible photos, but you will get a lifetime of memories from one of the happiest days of your life!

great non-traditional wedding photography

I was looking for a wedding photographer that took non-traditional photos. I found Josh online and fell in love with his style. I just got my pictures back, and they were everything I expected. They tell the story of the day. I got pictures that can be used as artwork in my home, rather than just traditional wedding photos.

I couldn't have asked for a more pleasureable experience from beginning to end! Reeder Weddings offers unique solutions to one of the most difficult tasks of a wedding, choosing a photographer. From the very beginning the experience was wonderful. With no difficult packages to figure out we were ready to see what beautiful photographs he would take. Not only are the pictures beautiful but he's a wonderful person to work with. You hardly knew he was there! I am still amazed that I have these beautiful memories captured so wonderfully on film. I only just got married but constantly reccommend him to everyone that I meet. We enjoyed Josh's company and he seemed to fit right in our family! He has a wonderful eye for photographry and can see beautiful pictures in places you might not expect it. Don't look any further for a photographer, you've found the person you need right here, Reeder Weddings. I promise you will be pleased with not only the photographs but the the photographer as well. AMAZING WEDDING PHOTOGRAPHER

Reeder Photography was the easiest and BEST decision that I made about our wedding. The first time we met Annie and Josh, I was ready to sign the contract immediately. My husband and I are both artists and were so nervous to put anything creative in anyone else's hands. We did not want a traditional wedding and wanted to work with people that understood that. Thank god for Annie and Josh. I really felt that they "got" what we were going for on our special day. I can't think of one complaint - everything with them from the time we met was laidback and comfortable and they did all of the work. The pictures themselves are perfect and I couldn't ask for anything more. You get much more than you pay for with Reeder Photography. They take the responsibility of capturing these moments very seriously and at the same time are fun and comfortable and relaxed. Even my guests were commenting on how much the liked the photographers. I would absolutely use them again and recommend them to anyone looking for something a little different in their wedding photos, yet classic at the same time. Thank you!!!

Nashville's best wedding photographer!

Josh Reeder is one of the best photographers in Nashville. He and his wife, Annie, offer exceptional service at a very affordable price. They are kind, enthusiastic, and very reliable. Josh shot my wedding from the very beginning to the very end (all day and all night) and it was the day after his first child was born. You would think that he would be distracted, but he was totally focused and my pictures turned out absolutely beautiful. The pictures he takes tell a story and they are very flattering without being posed or touched up. If you are looking for a wedding photographer you must check out his website and by all means contact him to get the scoop on everything that they offer.

My Bride was Blown Away!!!

Being a commercial photographer, it was tough leaving my "timeless wedding photos" in the hands of another person. I knew when my to-be-bride told me that the photography was one of the more important elements for her, that I would choose reeder weddings. Josh and Annie talked with me before the day, asking exactly what kind of style we were going for and what are expectations were. We told them and they executed exactly what we wanted. Josh did a great job of adding his style to our photos and then when I asked him if I could art direct the shots for a while, he was more than willing.. End result, My bride was BLOWN AWAY!!! All of our friends who are engaged or are thinking about getting married soon, have asked us.. "Who shot your wedding?" I guess that's testimony enough-
