Stephanie is the best. Very professional, friendy and funny. She gives great shampoos and scalp massages and always offers something to drink. I have changed hairdressers too many times to count, but not anymore.

You may not know it, but you can stay in Hermitage to get the perfect salon experience. Though it may not look like much from the outside (tucked on the second floor of what looks like an old motel), this salon is run by a wonderful stylist who has attended to every detail to make her clients comfortable and happy. Steph is talented, knowledgeable, easy-going, friendly, and professional. Her salon is decorated to give a spa-like decor, she always offers refreshments, and she always calls with an appointment reminder the day before. She gives the best shampoos (a great scalp massage is one of the highlights of a salon visit for me if done well, and Steph's are great!) She carries all Bumble & Bumble products and is generous with free samples. I am always happy with my color and cut, Steph is a good listener and able to give me what I ask for (even if I'm not great at describing what I want!) I have had multiple, multiple compliments from strangers such as "cute hair, who does your hair, where do you go to get your hair done, I love your haircut, etc." Funny story, I was standing in one of the chain mall salons with my 4 year old for her first haircut and a woman stopped into the salon from the outside of the mall to tell me she liked my hair and if I'd had it done (at the mall salon); when I told her no, she kept on walking! My mom drives all the way to Franklin to Dion's to get her hair done, and although she is happy with her services there, she pays more than I do for the same services and drives all the way to Franklin! I feel quite happy to have "discovered" this gem here in Hermitage. Steph is the best, and I'll recommend Identity salon to anyone!

If you are like me you have probably been to what feels like a million salons. I found Identity Salon in Hermitage about two years ago and I can assure you I will not go anywhere else. Stephanie is absolutely the best at her craft. I went in and said I don't care what you do. She gave me the most beautiful haircut and color I have ever had in my entire life. It was something that I would have never picked out on my own but it is the best cut I have ever had. I will not go anywhere else. In fact, I have referred several people to Stephanie, all who have had the same positive experience. Her salon is clean, warm, and inviting. Very comfortable. Stephanie is very down to earth and easy to talk to. Going to the salon has never been more fun!

Pros: Stephanie, Atmosphere, Quality & Value

Stephanie changed ny hair just the way I wanted. She inderstood exactly what I wanted. My blond hair never looked so good. The color is rich and streaked with highlights and lowlights. The base color is wonderful. The cut was changed so slightly but made an amazing difference. I love it.

Stephanie is great! I've been going to her for over 2 years now. I've tried other salons in the Nashville area (including SalonFX) but I never got the cut I thought I should. Since a friend recommender her I have not gone elsewhere.

Stephanie is the nicest, most talented hairstylist in Hermitage...I have been searching high and low for someone I could actually trust to do exactly what I have been looking for, and thank goodness I found her. Seriously, next time you need to call her; she can squeeze you in last minute if you need it! She saved my bum the other day!! : ) Love it! Two thumbs way up!!! SO CUTE TOO!

I met Stephany about a year ago and liked her right off the bat. She speaks with confidence and I trusted her totally the first time. And I am glad I did. I tried, stupidly , to go somewhere else and came running back so fast with my tail between my legs(so to speak). Stephany is the best at cutting and coloring hair I have experienced in my years living in Dallas, TX and now in my year here. I can explain how I want my hair and she does it even better than I imagined it to be. Her color techniques I have used on two different instances and both have been so beautiful I could not believe it was me. As you enter her cozy shop she is so friendly, confident and easy to talk to. The first time I let her wax my face, color my hair and cut it short. It was beautiful. Since then I have had total confidence in her abilities. She truly has a wonderful, positive experience waiting to happen on every visit. I will never go anywhere else.

Pros: Plenty of parking, easy to find, assessible.

Steph does a great job with color and her cuts are amazing! There is no need to travel to Franklin, Brentwood or downtown for a quality, trendy cut - Steph does it all right in Hermitage! Steph is committed to customer satisfaction & it shows!

This is by far the best salon in Nashville. I have been going to Stephanie for a several years now (even before she had her own salon) and couldn't imagine anyone else cutting or coloring my hair. I have never had a bad or soso cut or color. She always does a fabulous job. The entire staff is always friendly and accommodating. Water, coke, cocktail, magazines, friendly chatter, whatever you need. You'll always feel right at home. Todd is the other stylist. I have never had him cut or color my hair but from what I have seen he is fabulous also.

Pros: Great cut, color, atmosphere and price.

Cons: absolutely none!

I went to Identity Salon last week for the first time and BOY WAS I IMPRESSED!!!!! I took in a picture and I got the exact cut. Stephanie did exactly as I asked. We don't have many classy salons in Hermitage so this is a great addition!!! A downtown cut and style with a LESS than downtown price!!! You get a great shampoo with your cut too and boy is that relaxing!!!! With the Bumble & Bumble Products you'll be sure to be pleased! Stephanie cut my hair but Todd was working on clients as well and he did fabulous as well. I setteled for a cut but I imagine that a color is in the works for me soon as these 2 are TOP NOTCH!!!! Please, if you need a new do- go see Stephanie & Todd!!!!! You will NOT be disappointed!!!!!
