Not so fresh feeling

I used to think any Panera was a safe choice because they all used high-quality fresh ingredients. Last night I started to eat the 2nd half of a turkey sandwich, and noticed a piece of lettuce beyond wilted. Opened up the rest of the sandwich and found decomposing lettuce scattered around. As in, picking it out left black streaks on the bread and my fingers.

Showed them the lettuce, but Staff was more concerned with trying to buy me off with free food. Hello, lost my appetite. Didn't seem to care about fixing the problem for everyone else still in line.
