I was skeptical at first but the experience ended up being amazing. The pain in my upper back and between my shoulder blades simply dissappeared. I would definitely recommend this facility to anyone with back pain.

After seeing all the positive comments left on this website, I thought that this place would live up to its reputation. I was greatly mistaken. It was by far the WORST customer service I've received. I was very disappointed. I do not recommend balance bodywork for three reasons: 1. Lousy Customer Service 2. Bad organization with scheduling 3. Very dusty/dirty in the massage room I recommend Body Conscious, they treat you very well and the place seems very clean. They are located at 1815 Division Street, Suite 101 in Nashville.

Cons: Dirty, bad customer service, deplorable organization, parking

I think it's absolutely outrageous to have to wait 45 minutes to an hour for anyone to pay attention to you as a customer. Not only that, but the man at the front-desk completely lacks manners. I'm never setting foot there again!

Pros: Close to the interstate

Today was my first experience with Balance Bodywork and I guarantee it won't be my last. When I first opened the door the staff welcomed me like a long lost friend. It was a warm, welcoming atmosphere. My therapist, Nick, made sure that I completely understood the entire process. The massage itself was in a word, incredible. I have an auto-immune disease that causes me pain in my joints. I didn'[t have any pain when I left. I highly recommend Balance Bodywork to anyone. I have already booked my next massage. I even bought a gift card for a close friend before I left. Treat yourself. You won't be sorry.

Pros: Great massage. Customer service was excellent. Ambience was soothing.

From the moment you approach the stairs, Balance Bodywork gives you the experience of having discovered a secret hideaway with yogic and karmic secrets. The atmosphere inside is, to sum in one word, spiritual. Rich Penny has a warm, intuituve nature that carries into his fellow staff and service. I wholeheartedly recommend Balance Bodywork. Rich is the best and most intuitive massage therapist in town. He is experienced, professional, gifted and extremely in tune with your needs. It is a treat, a pleasure and a gift to make a visit to Balance Bodyworks. And the location is unbeatable. Staff is great. Recommend completely! Treat yourself and make an appointment or stop in Balance Bodyworks- you won't regret it and you'll never go anywhere else.

Pros: Caring, Compassionate, Experienced and Intuitive staff. Highly recommended!

No matter what kind of day I've had, when I walk into Balance Bodywork I feel immediately soothed and nurtured. Atmosphere and energy, wonderful! Classes, soothing relaxation! Teachers, accessible with plenty of personal attention; well experienced! Friendly, open, ... In short, it doesn't get any better than this. Kudos to Rich, Renee, Bliss, Melina, Alicia - take your pick - all fabulous!

The service is wonderful and the atmosphere is refreshing and calm. The perfect stop in a hectic day. Balance Bodywork is the only studio in Nashville where I can call and be seen by any of the therapists and know that I will receive the quality bodywork that I need. They are attentive to the needs of each person and genuinely want you to leave feeling better.

okay so the beginning doesnt sound great, but read through to the end, i started off bad and they fixed me! I was in pain. Something was wrong with my shoulder, and I almost couldn't move my arm enough to drive! I went in and had some work done on my back, neck and shoulders, and did not notice a HUGE difference by the time i was leaving. By the time I got home, i could already move my arm more. When I went to bed, there was even greater range of motion. When I woke in the moring, my shoulder felt almost 100% back to normal. Within 24 hours, my shoulder felt fine and I was able to work again Not only did i experience fantastic results, but the work it took to fix me felt great! The massage therapist intuitively knew what I needed since i was of little help in describing the location of the pain. They made me feel comfortable, and I would definitely go back if I needed more work done, or just for relaxation. I give this place high marks!
