Great Food and Service!!!!!!!

We always make a point to eat at Demos' when we are in Nashville for a concert. It is close to everything downtown and has great food and service! The blackened chicken pasta sauce is to die for!!! The chicken and rice soup is great too!!! I like the steak medalions with onions and peppers! Yum!!!! Can't wait to go back and I live out of town!!!

Impressive Service, Affordable Price

This is the perfect locale for Italian food that doesn't overcharge for hype like Amerigo. The service was impeccable; I've never been served faster anywhere, anytime (excluding fast food). I can easily recommend this place to anyone.

The food is outstanding! No, I don't own the place. I am a customer who is offended by these BIAS reviews. I have been eating there for years and have never had a bad meal, bad service or a unsanatary enviorment. Demos is one of the BEST steakhouses in Nashville. The other reviews have to be from the compition or these people wouldn't know food if they tasted it

very average Italian food

The food was very average and uninteresting. I love Italian food and have been to many Italian restaurants in many cities. Even for a family style restaurant I was not impressed.

Top Five WORST meals of my life.

I truly wish that there were a rating that was LOWER than poor.

This was truly one of the worst meals I have ever eaten. It is not Italian food in any way, in fact, it hardly passed for food.

I was absolutely starving and it was right there and I made a terrible mistake.

Totally disgusting and revolting food in a dirty, slimy environment. It was like eating at the bus station if the bus station were even dirtier than it is.

A terrible waste of time and money. I still can't believe that there were people eating there and enjoying it.

What can I do to erase that meal from my memory?

This is a place that I would actually pay them money to NOT eat there.

Horrible.

Great food, Great Service and Cheap!

This place is very reasonable. They also bring as much bread as you want and the service was great. Their special was only $4.25!! Not a super large portion, but you also got a side salad. If your down on broadway check it out!

Try the KC Strip best steak for the money

My girlfriend and I went to this restaurant tonight and we got right in. The staff and our waitress Maria was awesome. She suggested the KC Strip, I like steak, and lets just say it was unbelievable. I ordered my steak Medium and it was freaking perfect. The flavor was amazing. My girl ordered the Seafood Fettuccine and she loved it. The bread and soup was great and the service was impecible. We had ice tea and the sweet sugar syrup they put in it was remarkable. For the money we spent, I will go back and back. I can not imagine a better place in downtown Nashville for the quality and price. I am a big fan of Demo's and I highly recommend it.

• Cons: I got so full I could not try a dessert.

Great food for the price!

I think the comment below was written by a competitor. I'm from Alabama and many times my parents to Nashville they ask about going to Demos. The food is wonderful for the inexpensive price they charge. We've always been impressed with the servers too.

the worst food and service ever

i went to Demos on the recommendation of the tour guide, it apparently had quite a reputation So i expected much. I could not have been more disappointed. We waited two hours for the abysmal, overcooked, over-season "food" (thats being generous). The service was slow and the entire staff i found discourteous and disinterested.

Post meal, my friend and I were actually physically ill and had to spend the rest of the evening in retching in agony in the hotel room.

If it were possible to give negative stars, I would!

Anyone giving this restaurant stars must be paid staff.

Good spaghetti, horrible steak, cheese dip surprise?

I appreciate the attempt at uniqueness with steak and spaghetti. They do one (spaghetti) rather well here. But they should probably stick with that. The steak here is one of the worst I've ever had. Three bites and I couldn't continue. However, the spaghetti got finished. The cheese dip whatever was also one of the more peculiar things I've eaten, or started to eat rather. Chopped tomatoes and cheese concotion with tortilla chips. Now maybe this is just the Texan in me coming out, but how in god's name can you advertise this as queso? It's almost blasphemy. Nashville definitely has much better restaurants in the Vanderbilt area, but this one did not get the mark. Good location though.
