I have heard of Hooka bars, but this was like the hooka back padeo. The hooka was dirty they didn't have any plastic covers for the mouth pieces. The turkish coffee was weak and tasteless and the menu just had marker lines through things they didn't have any more. Not to mention that it was dirty as well. I mean they didn't even have the plastic tips for the hooka thats like serving food with no plates. Plus listening to Middle Eastern music at 100 decibels is not my idea of a good time.

The first time I went to this hookah bar I had a really good bowl and and a really good hookah. It was a bit cold but it was during winter. I loved the music and the low key atmosphere. The "Tarboosh Style" tea is absolutely amazing. I went there a little more recently, though, and it was packed and noisy (not relaxing at all). My hookah was dirty and I had to pull in so hard through the hose to even get the smoke out that it was really not a pleasant experiences. They don't have plastic covers for the hoses which I find a little bit gross. The hummus is really great, but I don't recommend the fries. They are pretty much dripping in grease. It's not a bad place overall but you are taking a chance if you'll get a good or bad hookah.

  • Pros: music, tea, hummus
  • Cons: cleanliness

I have mixed feelings about this place. I used to come every weekend but stopped after me and my friends got sick from the hooka. One of my friends threw up on the way home after leaving the place, and I had a sore throat for weeks. This place also had one of the rudest managers I have ever seen. He was a major hustler, and I saw several parties leave because he was trying to stick prices on them they didn't deserve, and I have even had an experience with him.

Let me try to explain... Most of their hookas are two-person hookas. I happened to come here with two of my friends, so that made three of us. It is $8 per hooka. We told the manager we wanted to just use one hooka for the three of us and pass the pipe around, but instead he forced us to pay for and use two hookas, when we only had three people. They also tried to add an extra $3 on our bill for no reason, which I disputed and got it taken off, but they were extremely rude about it.

Now that I'm done with the cons, let's talk about the pros.

Besides the manager, the staff is very friendly and usually composed of college-aged kids who will cut up with you and talk to you.

They have a wide variety of hooka flavors that usually taste great, and if you have a problem with your hooka they fix it right away for you and try to get it as smooth as possible.

The atmosphere is great with the middle eastern music and music videos playing, and it is extremely comfortable if you go there on a warm or cool summer night, as they leave the many windows and door open.

  • Pros: Great atmosphere, great music, great place to just relax
  • Cons: Got sick one time, dirty bathroom, rude manager
