between keeping quiet and not having crowds to fight versus spilling the beans and keeping this great resturant open. Thai Spice has amazing, fresh, quality food at an excellent price. Their curries, seafood, and fried rice are the best I've every had.........and I've been around. Service is fast and efficient, but not really personable. Go once and you'll be hooked.

  • Pros: Fresh, quality, price, no crowds
  • Cons: Servers could be more friendly

My family and I have been going to Thai Spice ever since they opened ( 4 years ago).

The food is so full of favor and so fresh. Everythings on the menu are made to order. It's good place to bring your family to have a nice meal. No restaurant is Nashville area can compare to Thai Spice.

The owner are so good with my kids. They are so caring and attentive to my kids. The service is so professional and friendly. The owners are always make sure the food are fresh and well prepare. The price is very reasonable. The menu has so many selection like chicken, beef, pork, shrimp. squid, scallop, tofu, fish, etc....

It's a great restaurant to dine and services are excellent. Everyone should try it out.

  • Pros: Great food and excellent service
  • Cons: None

I have been a regular here for years, and the food is fabulous. Very flavorful, fresh, a variety of vegetables in the curry dishes (love the panang), and well priced. Does not have the ambiance of Royal Thai, but the food is 10 times better!! The male owner is very friendly and sociable. The female owner could be a little more appreciative of custmers...especially the regulars!!

  • Pros: Exceptional food, fast service
  • Cons: Female owner needs a lesson in manners

Nashville has many places to eat "Thai" food, however, I have not found them to be authentic in any way. They mostly serve up either overpriced gourmet "Thai" or they serve up Chinese-style Thai food. Either way, the food at most of the Thai places in Nashville cannot be compared to the food at Thai Spice. Thai Spice is in a category of their own. Unbelievably fresh Thai Food (curries, satay's, phad thai, etc). It's all good. The service can sometimes be a little impersonal for Nashville/Southern standards, however, the staff is always courteous (the owner will routinely come and ask you how you enjoyed your food; this is a nice touch). The food is amazing. I challenge anyone to find a better mix/blend of flavors than Thai Spice (the curry pastes that the chef uses are truly amazing). If you want good Thai food, at reasonable prices with fresh ingredients then Thai Spice is your game.

  • Pros: Fresh food, authentic cuisine, keeps you comin' back (very addictive)
  • Cons: Service can be a little impersonal

This is by far the best place to eat Thai food in all of Nashville (quite possibly all of the Southeast). Thai Spice was recently paid the highest compliment by Jim Meyer the Tennessean Food Critic. Jim indicated that Thai Spice is the only ethnic restaurant that is cooking food currently that can be compared to what you might get at an upscale restaurant in New York City. Jim indicated that the chef really cares about fresh ingredients and about doing interesting things with Thai food. My husband and I are from Los Angeles and we have eaten at numerous Thai restaurants both here and in LA and this is by far the best Thai food around. Expertly prepared, fresh and always layered with wonderful flavors. You won't be disappointed. Make sure you try the Panang Curry (unbelievable). I also love the Green Curry, the Garlic Chicken, and the Massaman Curry. The seafood dishes are terrific if you are a lover of fish. They also serve Bubble Teas and they make their own ice cream (Mango, Coconut, and an unbelievabley spicy Ginger......great balance of flavors). This restaurant is located in the Publix Shopping Center on Royal Oaks in Franlkin. They have recently remodeled the interior of the restaurant and it looks terrific. Enjoy! Highly Recommended (citysearch would not allow me to select highly recommended; their system must be experiencing technical problems).

  • Pros: Amazing layers of flavor, great curries
  • Cons: None

The menu has the expected combination of rice, noodle and curry dishes and reflects common Thai fare. Thai Spice includes a few speciality items you won't find at most Thai locations. Be careful ordering seafood combination lates. It is a mesy prospect to remove the shells from crab legs as they sit in curry sauce. Classic pad Thai, with shrimp or chicken, is reliably tasty. Chefs prepare dishes as spicy as you choose, from mild to native. Prices are reasonable, the food is up to par, but the location is very basic and almost sterile.
