We made the trek from Portland, TN just to have lunch here a couple of weeks ago and the dogs were great! The fries were good too, and we liked the little paper bags that they came in. The location is not the greatest, but we went on a cold Saturday and parking was not an issue. Seating on the other hand was pretty rough. During summer it would be ok, given that you can sit on the patio and enjoy their dogs. Overall crowded building, but great dogs!! I guess now that I think about it, in Chicago the best dogs are sold on the streets, so try these and forget about seating!

Pros: Easy...Good hot dogs!!

Cons: Small building.

Hot Diggity Dog is located near downtown in a area you wouldn't exactly expect a restaurant to be, but the building is colorful and inviting and the hot dogs are delicious. I highly recommend the The Nashville hot dog with mustard, onion, and coleslaw. It is not to be passed up. They offer chips and greasey fries to go with your weiners. They do offer vegetarian dogs, but unfortunately not turkey dogs. The parking is somewhat limited as is the seating, so get there early.

Pros: Hot dogs and outside picnic tables.

Cons: Limited parking and seating and no turkey dogs.

I've always wanted a really great hot dog place here in Nashville and Hot Diggity Dog has made that happen! The women work fast and the dogs are great. I've had three of the hot dogs off the menu and all three were really tasty. The prices are nice to be able to get a good cheap lunch. I've only been during the lunch hour and they work thru the line really fast. Yeah, it's a small location and there isn't a speaker outside to know when your order is up, but I think with as popular as they're getting, those things will come in due time. I went when they first opened and they've definitely improved everything they need to.

Pros: Tasty dogs & fast service

Cons: Small building

First, I'll preface this by saying that I'm a vegetarian and always order the veggie dog, but I don't think I have a meat eating friend who would disagree with this review. This place is great. You can choose from several different condiment styles from the Chicago to the Nashville (which is topped with fresh made cole slaw!) The condiments are all top quality; you're cheating yourself if you're just getting mustard and ketchup. The french fries are always fresh and some of the best in town. Dogs are $2.50 and fries are only $1.25 so you can have a great lunch for less than $5. The women who run the place are always very friendly and really know their hot dogs! I would recommend this place to anyone. The only downside is that it's in a bit of an obscure location (downtown on Ewing next to the Nashville Mission) but that's actually a bit of an advantage because I found it's convenient to get to no matter what part of town you're in.

Pros: Cheap, great hotdogs and fries, amazing condiments, friendly service

Cons: Obscure location, very little indoor sitting
