I visited here today for the first time since discovering the wonderful little place that is five points. As a Southern California native I have had the pleasure of enjoying a great deal of fresh seafood and sushi my entire life, and moving to Nashville limited that experience to some degree. I took a chance on this place, thinking that if nothing else I could order a burger or something. Well I went for it and ordered two sushi rolls along with salad and miso. The meal was fantastic. The presentation was lovely, the wait staff was attentive, friendly and social. I loved the decor although I am not from Boston, I appreciated a new style of decor as the "old farmhouse" stuff I see on a regular basis tends to get old and tired restaurant after restaurant. I enjoyed the seating, the outdoor eating area was a nice option and comfortable, yet professional indoor dining areas were nice as well. I appreciated that is was very clean, tidy and well kept as all restaurants should be and was a far cry from the "historical" diner I tried two days earlier where I discovered old kitchen untensils, grease ridden seating, broken tile work and make shift storage containers. This place along with other family friendly, upbeat places in East Nashville offer people a new take on the "home cookin" vibe that Nashville some times evokes. It's nice to see a place representative of the more diverse tastes and personalities of Nashville's residents. All stars, will definitely return and have already reccommended it.

Pros: Friendly wait staff, fresh sushi, great area

Cons: I visited on lunch and couldnt have a beer!
