I had 6 laser hair removal treatments at Metro Laser and I am very satisfied. Jonathan is extremely professional, friendly, and he knows exactly what he's doing. I have visited several laser hair removal places for consultations and I think Metro Laser is definitely the best value. I got extremely good service at a reasonable price. Their Saturday hours are very helpful too.

Pros: Excellent service, reasonable price, professional, friendly

Cons: Their lasers only treat certain skin/hair types

I read all of the reviews and decided to have the laser treatment for sunspot removal. Everyone was very friendly during my first consultation and customer service seemed excellent. I was called twice afterwards for followup so I went ahead with the treatment with the understanding that I would need only one more treatment. After the first treatment, I had no changes with any of my sunspots. I called to make a second appointment and was told I would need to call back. After three phone calls and promises for return phone calls, I still have yet to get a second appointment. I've waited two months to no avail and am now discouraged from any further attempts. I felt they were very eager for me to come in for the first visit and despite seemingly good rapport, I strongly feel I wasted several hundred dollars.

Pros: Office is very clean

Cons: Disappointed with outcome and inability to make future appts.

I've had a series of treatments - chemical peels, microdermabrasion, facials at Metro Laser since October 06. I can hands down say Jessy is the best! She is very knowledgable and always educates me about my at home skin care. The atmosphere at Metro Laser is very friendly and inviting and there is never any pressure to buy products. The samples she gives me are the BEST! Jessy will only offer me something she knows is good for my skin. I wouldn't think of going anywhere else.

The service was personable, and educational, and the quality of the treatment was excellent. Have no problems, etc, after the treatment at all. In fact, the aloe product Jonathan used worked excellently, leaving me with no visible redness at all (considering I had to go to work right after his treatment). Wonderful guy, that Jonathan. I ABSOLUTELY highly recommend this place for service; as I will absolutely consider them for future and other possible things I will like to treat myself to @ Metro. P.S. I enjoyed Jonathan's hug, when we accidently bumped into each other in Philly street (this saying that Jonathan goes far and beyond to connect with people which saids that he and Metro is beyond fantastically personable). Thanks! :) - M.

The staff of Metro Laser were extremely professional. They were able to explain the treatment I needed in a way I could understand (no medical jargon) and also went over the procedures I needed step by step. I completely understood what they were going to do and they then proceeded to do it to the letter. It was a real pleasure to be treated by them and I am completely satisfied with the results.

I was skeptical of laser hair removal until my friend talked me into it! Best thing I ever did. My bikini and underarms are so smooth! I don't shave anymore! Love my life! Metro Laser was awesome. They arranged a payment plan, the cost was right on. The place looks great. And most of all the staff was great! Pleasant, clean and super friendly. I recommend Jonathan and his team to everyone.

Pros: Well priced. Super staff. Very Hip. Late evening appointments.

Cons: Only open half a day on Monday.

We want to thank the client who wrote the last review. It is most appreciated and we are glad that you enjoyed your experiece so much. However, we did notice one error. The esthetician here is Lindsay and she is the one who would have waxed you! We just want proper credit given to the correct employee. Thank you again! Esthetics Management

I recently moved to the city and was forced to leave the esthetician who gave me the best brazilains ever! after trying several different places, thinking i would have to start driving over and hour to have a wax, i went to Metro laser and saw Lindsay. I was so relieved to see that she knew how to give a "real" brazilian and everything was kept sanitary and clean. I also loved the quiet atmosphere. i will be back!

I've been to four different salons over the last four years for bikini waxing, and I like this one the best. Awesome things about this place: 1) Jonathan: So freakin' friendly yet also professional--it's a hard balance sometimes, and he's got it. 2) Pam: Listens to me babble through the pain (you know, no matter how good an esthetician is, waxing is not comfortable), and she achieves clean, smooth results. The best. 3) Atmosphere: I like to feel relaxed when I'm about to have hair ripped outta my skin, but I don't like when I feel like I have to whisper. At some salons (w/ candles and mini fireplaces and trickling water pieces), I feel like I'll bother someone if I speak. (At one place, someone actually knocked on the door and asked that the esthetican and I be quieter. Ew, not like we were shouting.) Metro has a bit more of a medical appearance and feel...without the coldness of a doctor's office. And the ever-so-slight doctor's-office impression makes me feel like I'm in good hands, that these are people who know what they're doing and how to do it right. 4) The staff is friendly and even a bit quirky--makes me feel more relaxed and also like they want me there, not just that they need me there b/c they need my money. 5) It's on the 20th floor, so if you feel like burning a few hundred extra calories, take the stairs. And when you finally reach the top, someone will offer you water or wine or whatever you need. 6) I got an appointment on the very day I called! Sure, I don't expect that every time but it's a very good first impression that they got me in so quickly. Bad things about this place: nothing. (A few reviews said the parking is a problem, so I took the train. It's just a few short blocks from Suburban Station.)

I recently had a facial with a chemical peel at metro laser. My skin never looked better! It was so relaxing and i really noticed a difference after only one treatment. I also had a eyebrow wax with Lindsay, and i loved what she did with them. I will be back!

Cons: parking
