Rude Service and Dirty Restroom (smells bad)

In past enjoyed the good food and folks at Peters. Over the holidays, I took my two adult daughters to Peters for dinner. We were served by an older Thailand woman who was very rude. She did not bring our order until it was cold, and we had to ask her several times to get refills on our drinks. She made a face at us when we told her that the food was all cold, and her comments back to us were on the mean side. My daughters went to the restroom and report that it smells bad and needed a deep cleaning. Made us wonder if something has changed at Peters. In the past we always had good friendly service, but this time it was really rude. Couple that to the bathroom situation, we will be looking for another place.

Cold food, dirty bathroom and nasty service? Why would we return?

• Pros: nice location, new decor and usually nice people
• Cons: food served cold and smelly bathroom

I am a big fan of peter.. he always make my sushi..but now when i come there, these new trainee make my sushi look like crab.. they dont know what they doin. i hope peter find somes more better sushi chef or train thems 10 more years.

Lousy Customer Service

I've been a customer (and huge fan) of Peter's since they first opened, but I will not go back anytime soon. Customer service has never been a strength, and it continues to go down hill. The employees aren't rude, they just act as if you are invisible. You will not be greeted upon entering. Placing a take out order in person is almost impossible (I finally phoned mine in even though I was physically in the restaurant). This restaurant has gotten fat and happy, and makes no pretense of valuing customers. When the shine is off, and a different restaurant is the Brentwood darling, I may consider returning, but not until then.

this place is super yummy. they often have toro which is hard to find. i eat here at least once a week. i highly recommend it.

Best Sushi in the WORLD!

We came across this place rather out of the blue one day before the renovations and full instantly in love. Their sushi is so tasty and fresh that it's no wonder it is a fav. amongst all the celebs in this town. We always come across someone since we go once a week for lunch. Last week was Sheryl Crow and the week before was Brad Paisley. Great food for the price! You HAVE to check this place out if you like sushi.

Service lacking with new expansion

Service has gone downhill, tables are sticky, windows are dirty, floor is dirty and friendliness has disappeared! Peter, what has happened to you? I used to love coming there.....now, I don't have time to wait an hour before someone even says hello! Sushi tastes old sometimes, too. I am disappointed!

Bathroom smelled fine, food was great, as usual....

We go to Peters atleast once a week. Bathroom smelled fine to me, I mean, you know, it smelled like a bathroom. Our food was fabulous as always and for as busy as they were, our service was great. Peters is honestly our favorite place to eat sushi. If you haven't tried it yet, I think you should!

Can't say enough good things about Peter's!

My family has been dining with Peter ever since he worked at Miyako in Brentwood. We were so glad when they finally decided to expand the restaurant and open up seating as well as expand the sushi bar.

I usually get a few rolls, the salmon roll being my favorite, and alternate with Pad Thai. Peter's has by far the best sushi and pad thai in Nashville, I really can't say more than that.

Service is reasonably fast, and now that they added the waiting area, the restaurant is not as crowded. More often than not though, people have spilled out onto the sidewalk outside - there is usually a large crowd waiting to get in.

• Cons: Sometimes a long wait

Great Sushi, Reasonable Prices, Trendy Atmosphere

I've been in Nashville 8 years, and I've eaten sushi just about everywhere, but I had never tried Peter's. I really liked it. The pieces of nigiri were huge--well worth the $. My Mom had the Pad Thai which was delicious as well. I only ordered sushi, and it came w/soup salad, and we each were given 1/2 egg roll for no extra cost. The sushi did take a while, but it was worth it. Plus, I had the soup, salad, etc to snack on while I waited. I ordered 1 roll, and there were more pieces than I could dream of eating. This restaurant was just remodeled, and the de'cor is so cute. It's a very well-rounded sushi/thai restaurant that's great for lunch, a date, or family outing. There are some whole-in-the-wall places to get good sushi for a little less $, but at that point you're sacrifcing atmosphere. I totally recommend Peter's!

HAIR IN SUSHI !!!!!!!!!!and cold food!

Went to Peters for dinner on Friday 12/05/20008. Ordered crunchy shrimp sushi, basil beef, pad-thai, and tum yum soup. The sushi came out about 30 minutes after we ordered. Ate a couple of pieces before we realized there was a long hair in one of the sushi pieces. Told the waiter and she just took the sushi way quietly so that other customers did not notice. Didn't offer any solutions. Told us she wouldn't charge us for the sushi. About 10 minutes later she brought out two bowls of tum yum soup (I thought she was making up for the hair in the sushi) ... right before I was about to eat she comes by and says that this was for another table as we only ordered one bowl. She grabs the two bowls of tum yum soup and gives it to the table next to us... How wierd.. I would not have eaten soup that someone almost put in their mouths. About another 15 minutes later, she brought out the entres which was cold. Not sure if I'd wanna go here again.
