Out of stock on most popular products. All of the *good* makeup artists are gone leaving only the mediocre behind. The did enjoy the two stylist in the back bar, they are wonderful stylists! I could not make an appointment with my favorite artist because all appointments are made on a post-it note or register tape and have to go through the manager, So I went to MAC in Greenhills mall. Seems like every I went over to the Therapy Systems section I was ambushed by associates wanting a commission. *thumbs down*
Pros: Great hairstylists!
Cons: all the good artists are gone

To: Southuhn Belle -This is Ashley from the Green Hills store...just letting you know I am with The Cosmetic Market once again and so very excited! Please come visit The new location in the Hill Center. You mentioned that you enjoy our fragrances- we now carry Acqua Di Parma, Bond No 9, and much more. Our store hours are 9:30 am - 8:00 pm M-S and 12:00 pm -6:00 pm Sunday. Don't forget the Cool Springs store! Come join us anytime- sip on coffee and relax around the store. You will enjoy your time with us. I stayed a devoted customer through the time I left- I had the chance to experience my time in the store as an actual shopper. The energy was great, Very good customer service, and the staff always introduced me to new products and trends. The best coupons are even offered- if you visit a location- sign up and give your e-mail address and you will get a coupon to print off and use in the store!
Pros: Schedule a Hair Appointment in Green Hills, and a Facial in Cool Springs!

Although I prefer the makeup brands that Private Edition carries (higher end products), I think the Market has a better selection of shower gels, lotions, etc. The staff sometimes comes across as inexperienced, and some of the recent hires (since December '06 or so) are a bit pretentious. Some of them don't seem to have much experience with helping customers pick out cosmetics, either, so either know what you want or be prepared to return the item. I do love that they carry a wide variety of fragrances from Trish McEvoy to Fresh and always have the newest OPI nail colors (sometimes before the nail salons do), and the snacks are delicious. I'm sad that Ashley is no longer with the store - she always knew what to suggest if I was having trouble deciding which products I needed and was so sweet.
Pros: They carry Ahava and Korres products as well as Bumble and bumble.
Cons: Somewhat inexperience dstaff.

I went to the Cosmetic Market hoping to find a less pushy version of Sephora. While the store had tons and tons of products, many different brands than offered at Sephora, the staff was even pushier. When I told them I was just browsing, checking out the selection, they proceeded to watch me with a close eye, as If I was going to shoplift. Very dissappointed with this store. They did have tons of variety, but I will stick with Sephora!
Pros: Variety, Tons of OPI.
Cons: Pushy, the distrusting staff.
