If you are attending this restaurant in hopes of good food that might be ok but if your going to enter with a nice pair of sunglasses or anything else valuable you would be better off to leave it outside the door! I ate there on Saturday at 2 p.m. the place wasn't busy no wait at all and seated fast. I got ready to leave left the tip a generous considering all I had was a coke! Left turned around not 10 min later walked back in and asked if they found my glasses! There was a guy at the hostess stand in his waiter uniform who walked in the back and returned and said the glasses where in the back! So I waited longer and still no glasses the guy who waited on me walked by and turned his head as if he didn't know I was looking for my glasses. Spoke to Eric the manager today and he said that he would call me back well I ended up calling him back at 5:39 since that 4 hours had passed when he was suppose to call me! He stated that he couldn't get a straight answer from his employees which says in my mind someone at the place had my glasses.. Thats fine I will take the loss of 180.00 pair of Oakleys that coke ended up costing me 187.00 so apparently they have the best coke in town at this price. I wouldn't recommend this place to anyone at all like I said be careful could possibly get robbed at your table by the one your paying to take care of you!!

Pros: NOTHING

Cons: EVERYTHING

Well I was looking forward to this for 3 weeks, as it was our anniversary. We arrived a little early, there was hardly anyone there (4:30 pm) we were seated but made the mistake of walking on the wrong side of the ropes when you first walk in,oopps. we were told to stay to the LEFT. tanks were beautiful and so clean, ok... our waitress seemed to be very nice, she took our order and left, some one else delivered our food to us and we never received bread on the table as all other tables did. she didnt come back for some time and all waitstaff were seen talking with customers about the tanks and the fish, no communication with us at all. fries were way to salty! all in all a beautiful place but some waitstaff would rather be at home then there, oh ya if you save your dinner receipt and go across the way to sting ray reef, show them the receipt and you get free food to feed the rays. diver feeding at 5:30 was awesome, he was very frendly and was waving to customers, nice place but very over priced for what you get.

Pros: clean place and fish tanks were beautiful

Cons: some waitstaff need to find another job

Food is good, great when you compare it to the rain forest cafe. I had reservations for 3 weeks in advance for a birthday dinner. I wanted to be seated by 6:30 so when I phoned weeks in advance, the girl recommended I make it and show up at 6 to have a large party seated by 6:30. Getting there at 6 per their request, they seemed upset the entire party wasn't there at this time, but did allow us to sit down at 6:30 (they were not super busy). They seated us at a ROUND table that was 2 short of our reservation. They said the remainder of the party could sit at a nearby table. After throwing a stink about this, the manager did manage to move 3 tables together. The seating hostesses are not the brightest, but it was a good evening once management was involved.

Pros: Atmosphere, food is better than Rain Forest Cafe

Cons: Seating hostesses are complete idiots

I visited the restaurant in March of 2008. I was seated promptly but that was the last positive. The Safari Club that I purchased at Rainforest Cafe (which I highly recommend) was not honored even though the restaurant was listed as a participant. I drove over over 150 miles to visit this restaurant because of my grandchildren. The service was slow and rude. The food was pricey even for the children. The adults did not order due to the rudeness of the waitress and the refusal to honor the Safari Club discount. I filed a complaint with an agency after the management would not respond to my phone calls. The management would not respond to the agency either. I was very disappointed and would not recommned this restaurant due to the management. The Rainforest Cafe is far better and the children enjoyed the atmosphere. Visit the Stingray Reef instead of the Restaurant.

Cons: expensive, poor managment, rude

We went Sunday evening to celebrate my son's birthday with his wife and 2 sons. We were seated immediately and our waiter was very prompt and attentive. Our 2 grandsons loved the fish tank. We love the ambiance of the full Aquarium experience. The food was delicious, service was excellent and we will definitely be back.

Pros: Food, Service, Ambiance

Cons: None

The atmosphere is above average. Beautiful place to dine. The management, at least on the night we dined there were extremely rude and uncooperative. Don't plan to use a coupon as they don't honor them. But do plan to spend over $100 for a family of 5 regardless. The service was not great. But other servers picked up the slack that ours lacked. The fact that management did not honor their coupon cost them my $25 meal as I refused to eat. I'd say go dine here....but BEWARE - not of the fish, but the management.

Pros: ambience

Cons: manager

I have been to the Aquarium Restaurant twice in the last year and 1/2. I love, love, love seafood and have always loved to admire sea life. The ambiance is calming and attractive....and that's about it!!! I am a patient person, but this was ridiculous...twice!! My experiences were with dinner, at about 6 pm, once on a Wed, once on a Sat. The lines are l-o-n-g therefore you will wait awhile to be seated, (first time for an hour and 20 minutes, 2nd for 1hour & 55 minutes). The food was below average and fairly skimpy for the far from reasonable prices. Our waiter forgot we existed and the 2nd time, (on my birthday), he was down right rude. Prepare to spend all of your evening there, between waiting in line, time of order to pay & go, we averaged about 3 hours on the first visit and 4+ on the 2nd. Needless to say, we won't go back and I don't recommend this restaurant for dinner. If you have children and they or you enjoy sea life, I would recommend at least an appetizer or late lunch, the water life is a must see.

Pros: beautiful sealife

Cons: everything else

My husband and I ate at the Aquarium tonight. While the tank was beautiful the food was terrible. It ended up taking us forever to get waited on and the food was cold. We also made it a point to eat there while the fish were being fed as we had been told how amazing it would be. I suppose it could have been except the eatery allows others to stand in front of the tank completely blocking the view. They were only serving at a twenty percent compacity and there was NO crowd control during this time. Seriously was terrible! I will say if you have young children and are not there for the food then this is the place to take them. The diver takes pictures from inside of the tank which all the children loved. Just keep in mind that you are there for the tank and not the food.

This was our early Thanksgiving in Nashville with all the kids and Grandchildren. We look forward to the treat of eating here every Nov. We will not be back. Service was terrible; this Nov. 4 '07. We have children that are waiters and waitress. They commented on how horrible it was this time. We had 13 people at our table. Food was S---L----O----W in coming. Food was very expensive for what you get.. The quality of the food has gone way down compared to other times we have eaten there. It seemed the waiter knew he was getting a 17% tip due to the number being served, so he didn't need to provide good service. He seemed to not be aware when we needed drink refills, although he was very quick to ask the two ladies eating at the table behind us if they needed refills. We were seated at 12:30 PM on Nov. 4, 2007 and didn't get or check until about 3:00 PM.

Pros: Watching the fish is wonderful. Delights adults and children

Cons: Food and service is terrilbe for price

I have no idea what some of these people are talking about! (The ones who've had bad experiences.) We have been going there for 3 years! and have had wonderful service and food! Waiters/Waitresses have always been super nice and great at their job. Never once have we had a bad experience of any kind or any size. I highly recommend the dip (with shrimp, crab, cheese , dont know what it is called) for an appetizer and the Broiled Shrimp for your meal and any of the desserts. The food is the best that I've ever had (with the exception of my salmon) and I've got a picky palette. Those who have had a bad experience their first time, I suggest you give it another try. Haven't you ever had a bad day? And don't bring your kids if you cannot control them. That should be common sense. It makes everyone's experience worse, no matter how good, Staff and fellow diners.

Pros: Everything!

Cons: Unruly children , which is obviously not the restraunts fault.
