I just wanted the entire world to know the quality and professionalism of Derek w/Affordable Wedding Photography. Derek recently handled the photography at my wedding. He is a talented and very amiable person. He provided above and beyond the quality of photographs that we ever expected. They were made available to me and my husband in less than a week. He took the time in our initial meeting to answer all of my questions wtih genuine concern. I would DEFINATELY recomend him to anyone getting married and wanting fabulous quality photographs at an affordable price.

My husband and I are extremely pleased with the BEAUTIFUL and CREATIVE wedding photo's taken by Affordable Wedding Photography!!! Derek, the photographer, is very nice and a lot of FUN to work with. The pricing was great, especially with the wonderful quality of work we got. I am CONSTANTLY getting compliments on our wedding photo's, and I HIGHLY reccommend this business!!!! Thank you again Derek for all of your hard work!!!!!!

Our daughter recently married at our home in October. We used Affordable Wedding Photography, Derek was our photographer and my husband and I would like say we wanted to give our daughter a beautiful wedding, but our budget was limited. We chose Derek based on two things, the quality of his work and his prices. We shopped around and was getting very discouraged with hearing things like $3000 - $5000 for wedding photography. We found the Affordable Wedding Photography website and was excited that we found a price we could live with and the pictures, at least on his website were very nice. My daughter and I met with Derek at his office and he answered all our questions and concerns. We hired him on the spot. Two weeks after our daughters wedding we received our dvd with the pictures and were moved very emotionally by what we saw. Even though we had a smaller than we wished budget for the wedding, the pictures we saw made our daughters wedding look like a million dollars. Derek treated us like we were spending millions, he was very patient and easy to work with and even took special requests shots from our guests. Speaking for my husband and our daughter, we could not be more pleased with the services provided by Affordable Wedding Photography.

This is the email I sent Derek recently: Hello Derek, Tiffany and I wanted to write you a quick "thank you" for all your hard work and follow thru on our wedding. Tiffany and I have been either in or a part of several weddings over the years, and I do not mind telling you that we did not look forward to the wedding photography session. However, your professional attitude and time management approach to the session made the photography session seem important, but the session did not overshadow our "BIG" day. You were able to capture all the necessary photos and many candid shots during the wedding, but you were not intrusive on the ceremony or after party. It was also a pleasure to work with you in the studio on packages and prices, during the engagement session, and after the wedding at the photo showing in the studio. You were able to communicate effectively and arrived on time at scheduled events ready to begin work. The added bonus of a web page and unexpected slide show was exceptional. I have not even got to the photos! Your photo work has been a highlight of the wedding. Tiffany and I still stare at the photos on our wall and have spent a couple of hours arranging our 300 photos inside our photo book. You have created a set of photographs that we will proudly display in our home and to our family and friends for years to come. We have enjoyed your extra photo shop work on the prints and the ability to have all the images quickly after the wedding on a disk and web site. I have also been able to make numerous large prints with no problems and received compliments from the print department. Tiffany and I send you best wishes for the future with your career in photography

I just read the unfortunate post of someone that is not happy with Derek. Well sometimes things are taken out of context and misunderstood. As far as my dealings with Affortable Weddings (Derek) I couldn't be happier. I have exchanged e-mails with Derek a couple of times since August and spoken with him on the phone once. I am just now reserving him because it took so long to get a date reserved through the church. I have been very pleased with my communication with him. He has ideas and that is what makes great pictures. His work speaks for itself.

All the pictures were beautiful! Everyone who sees them comments on how clear and vivid the colors are and wants to know who the photographer was. The 11 x 14 of Megan and Chad in the wheat field is the perfect picture. It totally expresses the two of them! I can't stop looking at it! :-) Someone who saw the wedding pictures said they heard one of the top 10 prettiest places to have a wedding this year was a South Dakota wheat field. Derek captured the picture in KY!! Derek gives top quality photographs at a very reasonable price including great turn around time on initial viewing and orders of wedding photos. Our family and friends ordered many pictures. The convenience of the website was great. I know it's got to be a lot of fun capturing just the right pictures on such a special occasion for couples. I would recommend Affordable Wedding Photography of Nashville for any occasion you want captured in pictures.Good Luck to you always Derek!

Derek thank you for the time and effort you put into doing our Engagement photos. I highly recommend you to my friends and family and they all love they work you did! Very Creative!! For those of you searching...we looked around everywhere comparing prices and found that Affordable Photography was the least expensive and basically get more for your money. We had a great experience and very timely service. I would recommend Derek to anyone!! Thank you again Derek!!!

I am sooo glad we picked Affordable Wedding Photography. We could not have asked for better service. Everyone at the wedding loved Derek. He was so professional and so kind. And to some it all up our wedding pictures were EXTREMELY beautiful. He made me look like a princess, which was the most important!!! After we recieved our pictures which was exactly 1 week and 6 days, we were trying to figure out how we could use his services again. Once we recieved our DVD in the mail he placed all of our pictures on his website for 30 days, all of our friends viewed them and they loved them as well. My sister even made the comment, "Keep his info for me when I get married". I know a couple of people getting married soon and I referred them to him. His prices are great and honestly I don't think I've seen anyone elses wedding photos that look as good as ours. We were on a tight budget and Derek worked with us; We changed our date a couple of times and he was still there. PLEASE USE THIS PHOTOGRAPY COMPANY.....GREAT CHOICE!

We found Derek on line. We live in Florida and making arrangements with Derek over the phone and e-mail was not a problem at all. When we met with him and looked through the sample albums we realized that he is the right photographer for us. We wanted candid pictures that told the story of our wedding day and he captured our day perfectly. He understood what we wanted perfectly. He was punctual, professional, unobtrusive and very creative with the shots he took. The pictures were of very good quality and we got many compliments on our choice of photographer. I would recommend Derek to any one without any qualms.

My husband and I used Derek for our wedding photos, and they were amazing. I had trouble choosing the photos I wanted to reproduce because there were so many amazing shots. This was my second wedding. For my first wedding, I spent thousands of dollars on a different photographer and I was completely disappointed. So I was thrilled to find Derek, who not only charges a reasonable fee, but also gives his clients the rights to reproduce their own wedding pictures. I couldn't have asked for more. He was wonderful on our wedding day as well. Punctual, professional, unobtrusive and creative. I highly recommend him!
