Vegan pizza that is delicious!

Before we went vegan, my husband & I used to love to order pizza from Italia. Since we gave up cheese about 2 years ago, we sadly gave up Italia as well.....until recently. Now they have tease (by far the best vegan cheese)! Their vegan pizza is awesome and it's so fun to sit at home with beer and movies and order pizza, just like the old days! Thanks, Italia!

Cold food, loooong wait time, worst italian food around

We tried Italia for the first time on Friday night and won't be back. We had the alfredo pasta and the cheese manicotti. It was a very cold night, and inside the restaurant was also freezing cold so we decided to get our food to go. It took about 40 minutes, and we might as well have been sitting outside waiting, since there appeared to be no heat inside. When we finally got our food we found that it was ice cold (did they even heat it?), plus the breadsticks were hard and rubbery and the salad was not fresh. I love italian food, but what Italia serves is terrible. I don't know how they stay open because I can't see why anyone would visit this place a second time.

Everything I've tried from this place is absolutely amazing. The mediterranean pizza is obviously made with the freshest ingredients and the dough is soft and flavorful. The greek salad with chicken was the best I've ever had. Usually the chicken in a salad is dried out and there isn't much of it. Not this one--the proportion of chicken to salad was PERFECT, and it was the moistest chicken ever. Ahh I love this place and would eat from there every day if possible! The staff is very friendly and nice, too, and price is very reasonable.

The pizza is great! The service is great! I'm so impressed and I'm not impressed easily. I think you should be entered in the "dessert" catagory too....your Baklava is to die for!!! I appreciate a restaurant that thinks of the kids too. While all mine are grown, it was fun watching the little ones with their dough, great concept! . . Thanks for a wonderful dining experience. I will definately be back and I've recommended Italia to many of my friends.

Bland pizza, poor service. Do yourself a favor and go somewhere else instead!

Whether dining in or ordering carry-out or delivery, Italia does not live up to expectations. The first time I attempted to dine here, my party ended up leaving before ordering because the rude counter attendant refused to acknowledge us coming in, instead just holding up his finger to say hold on. After a few minutes we decided to leave without ordering instead. A simple verbal greeting would have helped. Trying delivery from Italia was a worse experience. Staff are very difficult to understand and have difficulty understanding the customer. The pizza I received after a 45 minute wait was completely incorrect given what was ordered. I had to drive to the restaurant to get a new pizza in a timely manner, and all the staff offered to do for my trouble was give me a $5.00 coupon for my next order (my whole order was over $20.00). When the employee was taking over 5 minutes to get my coupon ready while also talking on the phone, I just said forget it and left, since I'm not planning on coming back here ever again anyway. Most importantly, the pizza was bland and poor tasting. Crust is way too doughy, toppings seemed to be of poor quality and overall the pizza was among the worst I've had. This place is definitely not recommended, given that there are many other options in this area that have better quality pizza and service.

Their pizza is simply said a masterpiece. You really get for your money. I recommend the take-out special. I darken their door quite often, at least twice a week. They have lots of vegetarian varieties and topnoch pizza. Salem -the owner- is the man...

i encourage everyone to go and try it.

My family almost always has an order from Italia waiting when I get in the door after a day in airports and planes to come home, and I'm always so glad for it! I would, indeed, go so far as to say this is better than New York pizza. The stromboli is also an interesting change of pace, and the more mediterranean fare is also yummy

The pizza at ITALIA is delicious. They have many different varieties and options, all of which taste great. The service is always great, with friendly and efficient waiters, although it can take a while to get seated (as lines get long) and it can take some time for the food to arrive. The ambience is very fun, as well.

I go to ITALIA at least once a week, and I never get tired of the food. There is such a great selection, and its all sooooo good. Im a vegetarian, so its hard for me to find much around town thats really good. The hummus is absolutely delicious! Their Veggie Hoagies are awesome too. The strumboli are great too I like one with tomatoes, mushrooms & artichokes! Then the pizza.ooohhhh the pizza! I have tried so many other kinds of pizza, and this is hands-down my all-time favorite. The crust is slightly chewy, and its brushed with a yummy, garlicky oil, and topped with a little parmesan cheese. The ingredients are always top-notch fresh tomatoes, spinach, mushrooms, green peppers. Very fresh. The marinara they use is really good too almost like they use roasted red peppers in it not sure about that but man, is it good! I really like their salads too. My favorite is the Greek feta, , olives, tomatoes, cucumbers, green peppers, onions, pepperoncinis fabulous! They have the best service in nashville you cant really find that anywhere else! Definitely check it out you will not be disappointed!!

Cold, bland, and worse than gas station pizza.

Pizza is our family's favoritte weekend food. So we were excited to try out this neighborhood eatery. We ordered delivery one Sat. afternoon and an hour later our pizza arrived cold, bland, and under cooked. This was hands down the worst pizza we've ever had, and the bread sticks were more like cold play dough.The only saving grace was the lasagna was fairly good (good sauce, ample pasta, tasty cheese). My .02 cents . . . save $20 and eat a peice of cardbaord.
