So i just moved here from NYC and was a little bummed because I didn't think anyone in Nashville could do my hair as amazingly posh as my beloved salon in NYC..... but I have found Nashville can offer even better, and I found it in Ashley!! I loved that she stood me up from every angle and really thought through the haircut for my face shape and made the consultation very personal. When I left I felt beautiful on the inside and the outside and that is a lot for a New Yorker. Never thought I would say it here "down south" this was the best haircut and color I have ever had! Thank God for Ashley R. and Benniefactor Products!!

Pros: Skilled Stylist, Helpful front desk, great vibe

Rodney is a genius. He is an artist. We love him and his salon staff are impeccable. Every time I leave Rodney Mitchell Salon I feel like a million bucks and he makes my hair look beautiful. I just show up and tell him to do what he thinks would look good and every time he creates a masterpiece. Thank God for Rodney Mitchell!

I have been going to Avery for awhile now & i have been happy every time! ..She does beautiful color. Since i have been going to her, EVERYONE is always asking who does my color, . I can't wait til to my appointment because she is so positive and has a contagious laugh. She is super hip and has fresh ideas. Rodney Mitchell Salon is AOK..AVERY is MY FAVORITE! p.s. i watched someone else( i forgot her name) do an amazing updo! there is some serious skill at that salon

I moved here in October. It's very hard finding a new stylist. I had tried another salon in Brentwood and walked out of there very unhappy. I put off finding another place for months. I walked into Rodney Mitchell Salon on Friday and instantly felt better. My stylist was wonderful. She listened to what I want, gave me her input, and my hair turned out beautiful! I have never walked out of a salon happier. I never felt pressured into buying the products they use in the salon like I have so often before at other places. The atmosphere is wonderful. They offered me a drink as soon as I walked in. The waiting area is very relaxing. I didn't feel rushed even when her next client arrived before she was finished with my hair. She took the time to do it perfectly and made sure I was happy. I would highly recommend this salon to anyone.

Pros: stylist knowledge, friendly atmosphere, you get what you pay for, wonderful experience

Cons: I couldn't find any bad things to say about this place

I had an awesome time at Rodney's! I didn't quite know what I wanted to do with my hair, so I just gave a generalized description and said you do what you want with it... and it turned out AMAZING!!! My sister recommended me, and now I'm hooked! I love the store's decor, and the great stylists! I will be back again soon!!!

On my vacation, I decided to use sun-in to make my hair a little bit more blonde and my hair turned an awful orange/yellow color! I called it gross. I couldnt stand it! I have never dyed my hair was very afraid because I thought it would look too fake but I had to in order to get this gross orange color out of my hair. I decided to go to this hair salon because it had high ratings. I called them up and told them my situation and I had everyone on the other line trying to see who could fix my hair and what time I could come in today. It was so nice! Ashley my hairstylist was AMAZING!!!!!! My color looked so natural and perfect! Just the way I wanted. She knew exactly what I wanted and my hair turned out so good. It is not too dark or too light. She did so well. In addition, she asked for second opinions. That to me means she really cares and that she is very professional. I would recommend anyone to go to her because you will be so satisfied. I really liked how at the end of the shampoo she said I will tell you that you will like this 100%. She was so right! Thank you Ashley so much.

Cons: I couldn't find it easily.

I work with a major airline and travel over seas. I have had my hair done in London England, Paris France, and several places in the Nashville area. Rodney Mitchell is THE VERY BEST! -Jan Young

Rodney is not only very talented, but he takes the time to listen to you and address your concerns. I have watched as he works on various clients with long, short, curly and straight hair and each leaves with a smile on their face. I am always getting compliments on my hair and I am always happy to refer people to Rodney.

Pros: talent, wants to make you hap, 2 locations

Cons: not cheap
