Stylish pizza joint with great flavors and by-the-slice variety.
by Contributor at Citysearch
In Short
Corrugated sheet-metal half walls surround a long, thin dining room with stylish wooden tables. Black-and-white photos adorn and a small stage occupies the back corner. A hip clientele hangs out until the late evening hours. What sets this pizza joint apart is the variety of sauces and toppings. The more unusual concoctions include the Pestato, a pesto-based slice topped with potatoes and corn, and the Bangkok Betty, featuring mandarin oranges and ginger peanut sauce.
BEST Pizza in Nashville!

Christopher Pizza is hands down the best pizza in Nashville. The service is always top notch and the food is amazing. The selections are creative, delicious, and affordable. If you are visiting Nashville, this is a must have. If you live there, it must become a weekly stop! This local pizzeria is one of Nashville's best kept secrets, but I want everyone to know about it! EAT at Christopher's!
- Pros: Food, Location, Service, Price, Music
- Cons: Sometimes there aren't enough tables for the crowd!

this is one of my favorite places to eat in nashville! i have to control myself from eating there too much! as far as it being over priced, i consider 8 dollars pretty reasonable. if you want cheaper than that, go for fast food. the pizza is excellent, and very creative! i cant say the name on here but try the pizza with pineapple, mandarin oranges, bacon, and cheese. its awesome.
- Pros: great pizza, cool place to hang out,
- Cons: cover charge on weekends, slow service sometimes

HORRENDOUS! The waiter actually pushed my date to get her attention because she couldn't hear over the music! 8" pizzas cost $8--and they look pre-made, i.e. come out on a piece of cardboard and have that oily residue like they came from a microwave. It's a lie to even consider them 8" because I only got about 4" of cheese and the lettuce looked like it came from a salad bag.

Perfect example of why 80% of new restaurants flop.
- Pros: Demonbreun Street
- Cons: Service, Price, Personalities, Volume, Capacity, CURSING SINGERS (no kids)
overcharged, underfed: Christopher Pizza

Tried Christopher Pizza the other night for the first time. I tried one of their sandwhiches, but found that it more closely resembled pizza bread folded over with ALOT of lettuce and very little of any thing else, essentially it was a $9 lettuce wrap. On top of this the waitress/bartender was not even remotely friendly.

I've been here twice, once with a large group, and once just with my wife and both times the service and food have been absolutely excellent. Great place to hang out on the patio and grab a casual dinner and beer - best pizza I've had in Nashville.

We ate dinner here and had great service, food and drinks. The price is right and the entertainment is fun. There is nightly live music. This is a good place to let your lady go shop while you hang out and have a beer and a pizza. The menu is creative and fresh.
- Pros: Pizza, live music, price, location
- Cons: None
THE BEST Pizza in Nashville.

Guys, trust me when i say that C.P. co. is consistently the BEST pizza in Nashville. I eat there well more than twice a week. Take out and sit-down it's nothing short of great every time! The lunch and dinner staff are the friendliest and best staff i've seen. And music on wed. - sat. is usually really good as well. Sometimes you have to stand to watch cause all the seats are taken, but that just goes on to prove my point! :o)
You have to try the Jamakin' and the Get Leid pizzas! MY faves!
- Pros: Great food, great staff, great music, cool hang.
- Cons: Parking across street can be a hassle at night.

Was it just because it was Friday the 13th?

In the past 2 years, I have visited this restaurant a dozen times. Initially, it was great, but with each visit the service and food quality has deteriorated. Last Friday, several of us from the office decided to have lunch there. Not only do they no longer offer table service, they no longer have daily specials. Previously, you could order a pizza, small salad and a drink for about $8, now all is separate and you are lucky to get out of there for under $14. That kind of price, and you have to get your own drink, napkins, etc.?? We waited for more than 45 minutes and in addition to the cold pizzas we were served, the counter person had to supply us with paint thinner for our elbows, since the newly painted tables weren't dry. This is our last visit to this place.
- Cons: Service, food quality
