Sheba and Trey jump out of the car and can't wait to get into Pet Resort. It makes me feel a little badly. They never look back once I bring them in the door. Sniff sniff. But it's a great place for your dog. Be prepared to realize that your dogs might prefer hanging out at Pet Resorts than hanging out with you!
Pros: My dogs love to visit Pet Resorts! Have been going 4 years now.

I didn't end up boarding my dog with you, but I did have her groomed on Monday Feb 11. She is a golden-doodle & can be very challenging to groom, especially since I like to keep her long. I have had her groomed at several places in the area but have never been satisfied. Your groomer Cathy, did by far the best job I have ever had done so far. Thank you sooooo much!! I will definitely be bringing Sylvia back for grooming, and have already referred you to several people for grooming. Vicki B.

Cathy F. has been grooming my dog for nearly six years. I would follow her anywhere. She is patient with my neurotic terrier. I would never have considered getting a second dog if I didn't have Cathy on my team. She is gentle and concerned about both of my dogs ----- plus she does a great job keeping them clean and groomed. When I board my dogs at Pet Resorts, Cathy checks in on them to make sure all is well. She always goes above-and-beyond her job. Cathy F. is a great asset to the Pet Resort "family". Elizabeth B.

PETS RESORTS IS AWESOME!!!! I HAVE BEEN BOARDING MY DOGS HERE FOR YEARS NOW AND THEY NEVER LET ME DOWN. I AM ALWAYS PLEASED WITH THE SERVICE. MY DOGS ARE ALWAYS FRESH AND HAPPY!!! I WOULD NEVER TRUST ANYONE ELSE WITH MY DOGS!!!! I HAVE TWO GOLDEN RETRIEVER'S AND THEY ARE A HANDFUL. I LOVE THEM DEARLY AND THEY LOVE TO STAY AT PET RESORTS BECAUSE THEY GET TO STAY TOGETHER!!!! I WOULD RECOMMEND PET RESORTS TO EACH AND EVERY DOG OWNER THAT I KNOW!!! STAFF IS GREAT ALL THE WAY FROM THE FRONT DESK TO THE GROOMER!!!! THANKS SO MUCH PET RESORTS FOR YOUR KINDNESS TO ME AND MY DOGS!!! I APPRECIATE YOU VERY MUCH!!

We just got back from our month long car trip from New York to Nashville to Abilene to New Orleans and finally back home. Fenway's stay at your facility was the best by far! He was clean, smelled great, and very happy when we picked him up after his stay with you folks. At the other facilities we boarded him he stunk of urine, his behavior was real jumpy, and he was so clingy for days after. It was very obvious he enjoyed his time with you and was very unhappy at the other kennels. We wish you all were closer - how about opening up a facility here in Up State NY? I'll be your first customer!

I called to make reservations to board our two dogs and was quoted a price. I booked it for a Saturday night and was told I could pick our dogs up between 1-4:30 on Sunday. When I arrived to pick them up I was then informed I needed to pay an additional half fee because it was a Sunday pick-up. This was never explained on our phone conversation - not sure I would have boarded if this had been told in advance. The service itself was fine. They were very sweet with our dogs, and they took good care of them. It is just the poor business practice - not being upfront that really upsets me.
Pros: sweet with dogs
Cons: not quoting price accurately - misled

I was able to board my two dogs together in the same kennel so they wouldn't be separated. Both of them are older rescue dogs (one 9 yrs old and one 14); I was nervous because they were never boarded before, and I had to be gone 5 days. The staff took such good care of them; they did not look stressed when I picked them up nor did they smell bad or have any smell at all. They were able to eat their own food as well. The staff was very understanding and caring!!! I definitely will use them going forward.

Cathy, the groomer at Pet Resorts of America, is one of the best in the city. Perhaps most importantly, she has a way with animals and is able to keep the most nervous dog calm and happy. She is fast, but she never cuts corners. She always consults with you to figure out exactly what you want, and if she brings your dog out and can tell you're not happy with something, she talks to you about it and if needed, takes the dog back and fixes it. Her cuts are sensational, and she takes care of the extras, too. My dog has NEVER had a knick or cut from Cathy, which is more than I can say for the groomers at a certain nationwide pet store chain (which also, by the way, charges exactly TWICE for a groom than they do at Pet Resorts). Cathy is so sensational that I followed her from her previous employer, extending my drive by 8 miles -- not a small thing when gas is near $3 a gallon! It is absolutely worth it because she's that good. Thanks, Cathy!

The dogs enjoy the indoor/outdoor kennels, and the kennel is kept very clean. The groomer does an excellent job on all breeds of dogs. Highly recommended!!!
