I have been going to Streets for off and on for a few years now (off because I move around and travel a lot) - and I just wanted to give them a little recognition for being so solid and good at what they do. I can recommend Kara and James from experience. And from what I've seen of their clients walking out the door, the others seem really good as well. James is my regular stylist and he is just a great guy. As a stylist, what I appreciate is simply that he cuts hair really well. He seems to really care about giving a good cut, and he achieves it without forcing his opinions. So it is a collaborative and easy process to get to the end result. With Kara, a similar thing. I walked away with a great hair cut. And it was a simple and really pleasant process. I like Streets because the energy of the place is reallly low key, and at the same time, the people who work there are doing what they do well. I saw in an another review a comment with the idea that the people who work there seem to genuinely care about both the customers and each other. And that's what I get from it too, so I echo that. And what strikes me also is that it is so effortless and unforced. So I definitely recommend Streets after trying out a few different places both in Nashville and in other areas of the country.
